Best Mexican food in El Paso

Started out with tasty salsa and basket of chips. I had the Salpicon salad which was loaded with shredded, spicy beef, avocado and cubes of cheese, all served in a tostada bowl. My spouse had a combination plate which was delicious with a relllano, enchilada, taco, beans and rice. Great service... read more

Wonderful food! This is our second visit. The first visit I had the chicken with mole'. Amazing! Had the shrimp with bacon and jalapeños this visit. One of the best margaritas I have ever tasted! Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

This is probably my favorite place to eat in El Paso. Their red sauce is amazing! I have some family in EP and am going to have them ship me some!! Other restaurants claim to have the best margaritas in town but of the one's I've tried - these are definitely my pick. Great ambiance in the restaurant too! The... More

We visited on a busy Friday and only waited about 10 minutes. The service was top notch. The team of bussers and servers worked together great to take care of any needs. The queso appetizer was amazing! Loved the addition of peepers and onions. The portions were large so we took the extra home. Yummy food and a very nice... More

This is a great Mexican food establishment that has been in El Paso for many years. I Love eating here and every time I come the food is great and the service is always good. The newer location on Joe Battle has an extra room for parties that fits a little over 40 people we have had multiple events there.... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Phoenix about a month ago. We were not impressed by the food at all. The service was okay, the place was nice but the food was not great at all. Maybe we should stick to Tex Mex.

Casual atmosphere and efficient service. First restaurant dinner meal here in El Paso. I am here for a week visiting my daughter and am a big fan of Mexican food so this was the first tasty spot - a good chimichanga after starting with a small, order of chips and guacamole - next time I will get a larger one!

Julio's is an iconic Restaurant in El Paso. Absolutely the best food and service at a reasonable price. Julio's helps you with hosting bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays and any other kind of family event! The Joe Battle location has an excellent breakfast/ brunch buffet! Was there for Father's Day and a 90th birthday celebration in February! It also serves... More

Stopped by, on the way out of the El Paso airport off of I-10, based on the reviews. I had the enchilada combo and my guest had the beef tacos. Lunch crowd was light and service was relatively slow. Food was ok - no better than your typical strip-mall Tex-mex joint.

We decided to try this out due to the Trip Advisor rating and to be honest, it did not live up to the reputation. My wife is from El Paso and we were looking forward to some really great Mexican food driving back home from Arizona. We ate at Carlos & Mickey's last trip through and that was excellent. This...
