Chosen by our El Paso friends

Very good choice as selected by locals. Everyone one in group was pleased with selections. As I recall we had the chicken mole, steak tampiqiena ( very tender), cheese enchilada and salads including the large spinach ... Which was big enough for sharing. Of course, margaritas. Our waiter Christian was friendly and helpful.

Had dinner here with coworkers. Both food and service were very good. The chicken tacos were very tasty as was the coconut ice tea. The decor is very pleasing and the atmosphere is comfortable. Will definitely go back.

We tried the Chile Relleno, Corona Especial (Red Mole Enchiladas), Carnititas and skirt steak. You can't go wrong here!

We ate at this amazing place both on the way to L.A. and coming back. This is the "real deal" of Mexican food. The border was close and I could not have asked for better than this without a passport. The fajitas were superb and my wife's combo's top notch. A great experience and superior service.

We visited recently on a Friday evening, based on the previous reviews. They have several large dining rooms decorated in a southwestern style. Javier provided Extraordinary Service. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas Mole' and the Beef Tacos. Both were Old Family Recipes and worthy of praise. Others in my pary had the Chili Relenos, Enchilada with Red Sauce, and the... More

Very nicely decorated in subdued Mexican decor, not gaudy. Clean, comfortable, with soft music in the background. Excellent service, delicious food.

Went there today for some lunch purely as it was a nice walk away from the hotel we are staying in. We were so lucky as the food is excellent and the friendly professional staff really nice. We liked it so much that we are going back tomorrow for dinner.

Julio's was recommended to me by several people in El Paso. They weren't wrong! I had the "flame queso" ... literally the best queso I've ever had! I also had the chicken flautas - amazing as well. When I return to El Paso, I'll be visiting Julio's again.

I am an avid lover of Mexican food and very particular that it MUST be good. When we asked the night manager if he could recommend someplace, he said Julio's was good. Actually, it was great! My favorite Mexican restaurant used to be Macayo's in Phoenix, but Julio's just replaced it. Even the dessert was fantastic.
