This is a great, inexpensive lunch place. Lots of hot and cold sandwich choices, with vegetarian options and a wide variety of soups. They have a specialty dessert case which is usually filled with chocolate covered strawberries, rum mousse balls, fruit tarts and so many other decadent goodies. They sell fresh baked bread that is made without preservatives and the... More

Great place to sit and visit if you have time or if you were by yourself, I love the atmosphere and I love the food! Parking is in the back and I believe metered parking out front. Small strip of business south of the Bakery. Blessed to have this business in town.

I started stopping by Community Bakery back in the early 90s when my daughter and I were on our way to do the family's grocery shopping. Their bagels were great as well as many of their other products. But, then, things started going downhill. They began charging for butter for the bagels... the bagels started getting smaller and smaller, as... More

Great food, especially the soups. Creative sandwiches and a world class small bakery. The coffee is good but not great, it is just a wonderful place overall

I usually find my way here for breakfast or lunch. The food is excellent and the staff is saintly. That's the food side. I'm not as crazy about the actual bakery side of the aisle. The cookies and pastries are OK but they aren't why I go in.

We never miss stopping in as we pass through town, which isn't often, so we stock up on pecan chocolate sandies, cocoons, chocolate marshmallow bars (you need an insulin drip for these), lemon squares and pecan squares. I was hoping for some really sour sourdough, and I was assured that the traditional loaf was the best, so I was sorely... More
