Excellent return experience

I hadn't eaten at Acadia for 3-4 years until my birthday last week. The dry, dirty gin martini was even better than I remembered. The mussels in white wine with garlic appetizer we shared was amazing-- the best I've had in LR. My scallops entree was very good... a 7.5 or 8 on a 10-pt scale. My... read more

Why, o Why does Acadia get little respect? This joint is puns-for-pund one the best restaurants in LR. The three course meal special is one of the best deals in town and yet, it rarely busy in there. Please go by, eat outside on their nice deck during nice weather and enjoy the incredible food and wine offerings. You will... More

We were in town for the marathon and wanted to stay away from the crowds. A group of us went here and we were not disappointed. The prices were good. The service was great. The food was amazing. Dessert was amazingly great. I would come here anytime.

The atmosphere here can be just a tad stuffy if you sit inside, so if the weather is nice, I would recommend a table outside. It tends to relax the mood. Although perhaps I'm being too picky. At any rate, any stuffiness is outweighed by the delicious food, no matter where you're sitting. I've been here several times over the... More

We eat at Acadia several times a year, almost always for a special occasion, an anniversary, birthday, etc. We never mention it's a special occasion, but we don't have to. The wait staff is always attentive, but not pushy. The menu differs from season to season. The decor is subdued and intimate. The food is delicious. I can't think of... More

I always love outdoor restaurant setting so when I read that this had a patio, I had to go! The menu has first course & second course entree' options. The first course entree's were mainly salad's - I truly wish they had more appetizer like variety in this option as I usually don't like salad's before a meal. I ended... More

Took my two granddaughters to dinner to start their senior year in high school and junior in college. Great restaurant, super service, and won't break the bank. Highly recommended by my family.

The food was very good (smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese) but the setting is the best. Love the porches outside overlooking the Hillcrest area. My friend had the salmon and she said it was perfect!

I dined here the first night it was open and have since followed up with many enjoyable meals. The food is consistently excellent and inventive. The chef/owner is on the scene every night and has maintained the food quality at a high level. I've had many great meals at Acadia. I'm especially fond of the scallops and their soups are... More
