Best Burger Around...but only available at lunch

OK... let me first admit that I don't care for the steaks at Does. But for my money, they serve the best burger in Little Rock... and maybe the entire state. And what a deal too. Cheeseburger (handcut fries included) come in right around $7. If you arrive for dinner and expect to order a burger... read more

When you get to Does you lock your doors, when you step into the restaurant your not impressed. But when they give you the Tamales or the Shrimp everything changes. You can only order steaks by the pound. The Menu has 4 items. Steak, Steak, Steak and Salmon.

We picked this restaurant as it looked like a good local place to eat. The menu is simple and the good was very good. There is a lot of memorabilia from many politicians displayed on the walls. We were over charged and did not notice until the following morning. When I called they were very apologetic and refunded me promptly.... More

Never judge a book by it's cover!! From the outside you'd never believe this place would serve such fabulous food!!! The salad, toast, fries, shrimp.... All were fabulous!!! The steaks also looked great!!! Little pricey.......well worth it

The only reason I would possibly recommend going is for the novelty, and if you're interested to see where Bill Clinton and his staff often ate. I've eaten here 4-5 times, and have never been impressed with the steaks. There are far better options for steak in Little Rock. If you have to eat at Does, I would recommend the... More

My first visit. I've heard about Doe's from dozens of people. It certainly was worth the visit. The tamales even though kind of small were very good, the chili is all meat and delicious. The chili cheese dog is tasty and huge the coleslaw was some of the best I've ever had. Doe's is a must visit for dinner bring... More

I really enjoyed eating here. This is proper Southern style eating in a simple cafe. I loved the tamales and chilli. The staff are friendly and efficient. It is always busy here and that is because it is really enjoyable tasty food with fast and friendly service.

I've been to this restaurant many times over the years, and can say that it is consistently average. It is neither bad, nor terrific. It has a reputation as being fabulous, and I never really understood why. Perhaps it is not because of the food, but of the very real possibility that you might run into the governor or any... More

Been on my bucket list for years, and finally hot there. I've eaten I a most of the important steak houses in eastern US and I was not expecting that quality, but I was expecting a decent meal. Started with tamales, because, well, that's how one starts here. Little taste, lots of grease. At least the chili topping was passable... More

I totally didn't get this place. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast, but the food was just this side of awful. I don't know why tamales (which were greasy) would be the appetizer of choice to go with a steak, but this is what Doe's is known for. The steaks are big, but the quality was... More
