The baskets of catfish filets we ordered were excellent. Service was super quick! However, the floor was a bit slippery, so have to watch out for that (I almost slipped :P)

The place was packed with lines out the door when we got there, and when we left it was still that way. Great Southern food. I had fried catfish and was perfect. My husband had a fish platter and snarfed it down. Service is quick so don't let the lines at the door scare you off. Well worth a little... More

Great place, down to earth, nice staff. Catfish and okra was excellent and reasonably priced. Kids enjoyed the fish and grilled chicken as well. Will definitely go again to try out other items on the menu if ever in the area again. Prepare to stand in line for a few minutes to order, but it moves quickly. :-)

Had catfish basket, fries and hush puppies. The Catfish was too greasy for us. Friends also got a side order of fried crawfish there was so much batter on them you could not taste the crawfish. The restaurant itself was miserably hot inside even sitting by the open windows, fans only,no AC.

The food here is absolutely fabulous and it is busy any hour of the day. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about Flying Fish. The menu, which is wide and varied, is on a board above the counter where you place your order. The tables have a tray with condiments & a roll of paper towels. Drinks are in a... More

Before we could board the plane to Little Rock, my counterpart stated she wanted to go to the Flying Fish for dinner. I lived in Little Rock for 5 years, but it was not there when I lived there so I was game. When we arrived at the restaurant, I thought we might decide to go somewhere else because the... More

We stopped in the Flying Fish around 11pm on a Saturday night on the way back to our hotel. Stepping into this restaurant was a real treat. There was a retro vibe going on - from the shiny vinyl & chrome chairs and vintage windows to the oldies playing on the sound system. The painted beadboard paneled walls were covered... More
