Knowledgeable bartender; fun menu

You can tell that this is where a lot of the local movers and shakers hang out. So people watching is a good reason to go in itself. Best vodka gimlet ever. Fun menu with lots of southern favorites. If you "think" you like banana pudding, You have to taste the Captiol Bar and Grill banana pudding. A fellow patron offered to pay for my dessert if I did t like the pudding. Well.. I'm here I am writing a review.. The bonus.. The pastry chef even makes the vanilla wafers on top. Delicious!

Eating at Capital Bar and Grill always reminds me of another era. From the time you pull up in front of the restaurant and have your doors opened by hotel staff until they return your car is an experience of being treated in a way not often done anymore. Yes, you tip those who park your car but who doesn't... More

Went for lunch. We had the Cuban and the hamburger. The Cuban was ok, bread was a little dry. The hamburger was very good. They charged $3.00 for a not so big glass of tea. The service was really good. A little expensive $44.00 for lunch.

The Capital Bar serves the best drinks around. The staff is very professional. I didn't have any food this visit but it has always been excellent. Be sure to ask for the fried black eyed pea appetizer.

On our meandering way to D.C., never having stopped in Little Rock, decided to do that this trip. I love old hotel that have been preserved and updated, and this one fit the bill. Didn't stay there but did eat at the Grill. Food and service were both excellent! Fried chicken skins were spicy and delicious, and the beet salad... More

The Capital's street-view bar is the kind of place you'd be proud to take anyone who's visiting. And a great feel-like-you're-on-a-trip treat for natives.

We enjoyed the specials during the weekday lunches. It also has a good bar. They make a lot of condiments and food items themselves so it has unique things to enjoy. Also, do not leave this place without ordering some of their roasted pecans. They do it in-house.

Great place to have an afternoon cocktail at their bar. Bloody Mary is unique and not to be missed. Sad the revolving door into the bar from the outside of the hotel no longer is in working order.
