While visiting family we decided to have dinner at the Capital Bar and Grill...The pimento cheese appetizer was so good. The best part of the evening was our server - Caleb F. While ordering beer I told him I like a light colored beer and his suggestion was so DELISH - I had to get two glasses. He also made... More

I have never been to this place when it wasn't crowded, but I have also never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. It's a fun, exciting atmosphere, beautiful old hotel and bar, the food is great and the service is good. I do recommend this as a good place to have a drink and dine out in the... More

Had the pleasure to dine/imbibe at the Capital Bar & Grille during my recent stay in Little Rock and all I can say is OMG! What a great place! I personally had their tomato soup (spiced up version) and the grilled cheese & pimento sandwich! Both were amazing! My daughter had the catfish and it was the best she ever... More

We've always made it a point to eat at the Capital Bar and Grill every time we visit Little Rock....which we do at least once a year. I think it's an exceptionally well-ran place, and I'm always struck at how this restaurant is "thoughtfully" managed, it's obvious that time and effort have been put into this eatery. The entrees are... More

Flying solo on a business trip, I walked down to the Capital Hotel to eat something light at the Capital Bar and Grill. It was a Tuesday night and they still couldn't seat me, but invited me to see if there was a seat at the bar. There was, so I squeezed in. Bartenders were busy but I didn't have... More

I was staying across the street, so one night I stopped in for a quick snack since the food at my hotel was dodgy at best. Clearly the bar staff are top notch and know their liquor well. They have a good selection of cocktails and drinks in general, along with good information if you have questions. The decor is... More

Overall, it was quite good but pricey. Avoid the Ceasar salad as it was awful. The burger was very good but not $14 good. The drinks were good but the beer selection was lacking.

It is expensive. Spent about $35 dollars on lunch - Cobb Salad, Iced Tea and Soup. The food quality is great and the service is even better. All servers were courteous, attentive and professional. I loved the restaurant décor. Felt like I was in an oak paneled den. Walked around the Capital Hotel. I felt really good after this experiences.... More

It is worth a visit to see the stained glass ceiling in the lobby and to walk around the bar. The food was good, particularly the complimentary black-eye peas and the pickled egg salad. Wide variety of choices, so you can have a full meal of just appetizers and drinks. Thoughtful and attentive waiter. A band came in shortly before... More
