Great lunch place

We enjoyed the specials during the weekday lunches. It also has a good bar. They make a lot of condiments and food items themselves so it has unique things to enjoy. Also, do not leave this place without ordering some of their roasted pecans. They do it in-house.

Great place to have an afternoon cocktail at their bar. Bloody Mary is unique and not to be missed. Sad the revolving door into the bar from the outside of the hotel no longer is in working order.

I've eaten at the Capital Hotel twice during recent trips to Little Rock. The first time around, I'd heard that I MUST have dinner at Capital Bar and Grill, so off I went. I started with a glass of wine and the bar's trademark fried black eyed peas. My appetite whetted, I moved on to the roasted chicken, which came... More

The first thing noticed is the atmosphere. This restaurant is in a very old, expensive, classy hotel. I had the Monday special which was a Cajun-like sausage, rice and beans dish. It was very good. The French bread it came with was almost too well toasted but went well with the soupy dish. The biggest downfall of the establishment is... More

I fell in love with the hotel lobby and walked into this restaurant to see that it matches the hotel. The staff was friendly, the waiter even joke with us! The soup and sandwich i ordered where very good, it was a pork sandwich and it was delicious!! Portion was perfect for me since needed to wait until 8:30 for... More

First, I will say the drinks were very good! Well mixed. I was a little disappointed in the menu selection. There wasn't anything that just say "wow" try this, so, I ended up have a burger. It was good but then later on I had an upset stomach. The service was fast unfortunately the waiter was not very friendly. While... More

The Capital Bar and Grill is located in the historic Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock. The setting is quite elegant and "old school" and after the work day ends, it seems as though the bar turns into "attorney central." Eventually they clear out and go home to what I suspect is a well cooked meal by the trophy wife...but... More

Even if you do not stay at the hotel. this is a must visit. The bacon is cured in house ,thick cut and very tasty. Their Bleu cheese dressing absolutely wonderful, especially on their Cobb salad. They have a build your own burger that is enough food for two or one if you have a big appetite. Very well prepared.

This is a grill that offers a nice selection of entrees and appetizers. Whether you want something lite or a full meal, you'll enjoy comfortable, classy surroundings with very good service. This is certainly not a wing and beer or pizza and beer kind of grill, This is a place that offers a great selection of unique specialty drinks to... More

Inside the Capital Hotel (which is a really cool hotel). Had amazing pimento cheese dip but rest of menu not that overwhelming. Food was good, can't really complain, it just wasn't the type of menu that wows me.
