My wife and I went and felt the experience was... meh... The service was good, the atmosphere was that of an average restaurant trying to be fancy. This made everything feel cheap. Finally the food was definitely not worth the price. To conclude: if you would like good service for very bland and average food in a cheap atmosphere then... More

Had the snapper. I'm allergic to garlic so it was nice that they removed it from the dish for me. A lot of chefs won't do that. Fun atmosphere. Piano bar as well. Delicious canoli.

We went for our anniversary and it generally lived up to expectations. Staff were warm and welcoming and the food was quite good. Staff made sure we got a quiet corner table and that was appreciated. I asked for a Negroni, they did not know how to make it, I told them and they did it just right. Pasta was... More

Pros: Food was good. We had delicious mixed olives as an appetizer, plus the complimentary bruschetta. I had the burrata salad and my entree was the sea bass. Both were very good. My husband had a Caesar and eggplant parmigiana. Our server, Flora, was excellent -- knowledgeable, friendly and cheerful, and efficient and attentive without hovering. Lovely and romantic atmosphere.... More

I have eaten here on several occasions and overall I think they live up to their reputation. I especially like the Lasagna! I have made the mistake of ordering a "special" salad that was not on the menu and didn't ask the price. . . I found out later it was only a few dollars less than my entree. I... More

Still great food at the new location. We tried the two specials--rack of lamb and sea bass. Both were excellent--no wonder our server warned us that she would have to check to see if they still had some! Calamari appetizer was tasty, as were the desserts we sampled; a blood orange sorbet (simple and delicious) and a cannoli (not so... More

This restaurant had good atmosphere. A perky, friendly server. The food was extremely disappointing. I got a grilled ribeye, which was thin, had no seasoning, and was tough. Another person in my party got a filet, which was awful, full of grissle, not seasoned. The sides were very "blah". The only tasty item was a crabcake appetizer, which was pretty... More

We were treated very well on our visit to Vesuvio from the maitre de to the server. The menu did not have all the "usuals" which made it much more interesting. The server suggested a great wine. I had the eggplant parmesan which was as good as my Italian roommate's grandmother made which is saying a lot. I did not... More
