We totally go to TripAdvisor for reviews before we make decisions on new places to eat. We were visiting from IL, our son and daughter in law who live in Jacksonville and saw The Pantry was rated #1 in LR. No questions asked, we were on our way! I was somewhat surprised to find it in a strip mall type... More

Passing through for dinner, and with very low expectations, we stopped at The Pantry based on other TripAdvisor recs. And am i ever glad that we did! They position themselves as real Hungarian and they are all that. House-made suasages, pates, smoked meats - all on a large, delightful charcuterie plate. And very solid wines to accompany it all. Burgers... More

We had heard of how this restaurant had shot up in popularity to become a star in the Little Rock dining scene, and we were looking forward to seeing what all the commotion was about. We can't wait to go back. Last things first: the Nutella creme brulée was so good it should almost be illegal. The cheesecake was some... More

I can't believe we waited to eat here! The service was amazing, and the food was even better. The bacon wrapped dates are a little piece of heaven. A sweet and salty mix that you wouldn't believe to be so good, and the Stock Pot of cod and shrimp in a tomato base was absolutely to die for. If you... More

I was here for lunch and had the bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut for about $4.50. It was delicious. The atmosphere was up beat and cozy, and staff were friendly and prompt. By the time I left there just after noon, the place had quite a crowd; so that tells you something. I definitely will be back to try one of... More

Went looking for something different while visiting Little Rock. We liked it enough to visit twice during our short stay. Very nice variety on the menu with some great European flavor. We had Hungarian sausage and goulash, along with German wiener schnitzel and bratwurst during our two visits. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Should we return... More

Great food and friendly service! I have been in search of a good Bavarian style restaurant in the area for years! Well, this one isn't good - it's great! It has just entered our rotation! Can't wait to come back at night for some Wiener Schnitzel and Apple Strudel!

This restaurant is a jewel. The decor is cozy and intimate and the food delicious. The owner visited the guests to be sure they were happy with their meals and he was delightful. My husband and I both chose the salmon wrap sandwich and loved it.

Wondered about service for a late visit but there were patrons who came in after us. One entree was no longer available but five diners all thought their food was excellent, from burgers to a wonderful pork dish with fabulous sides. The tea drinkers were also introduced to a new tea with hot water amply replenished.
