A tacky entry that serves as a schlock shop, inattentive wait staff, sub par food not coming out as ordered THREE TIMES!!!, filthy bathrooms, and waiting about 20 minutes at our table to pay our bill, only to be told by another customer that we had to take our bill up to the counter to pay, makes Lupita's a place... Great family and friendly atmosphere and the food is very affordable and delicious! I have never been to Mexico so cannot claim it is authentic or not but it certainly is yummy and worth the stop if you have ever in Cedar City.

While driving from Bryce Canyon towards Yosemite we stopped at lupitas for lunch. We got carne asada and a combo of enchilada, taco, and chile relleno. We're are quite picky about Mexican food as we only enjoy authentic Mexican taste and not TexMex but we were happily surprised to find exactly this. All in all this was a great experience... More

The chips and salsa were good. You can really taste the cilantro in the salsa. We got a bean dip appetizer and we both got a guacamole torta. The guacamole was excellent. Prices were on par with the Mexican places we go near our home. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick considering how busy they were.

This was horrible. I've never had such trash described as Mexican food. The meat is crap, the cheese dip crap, sauces crap. Still had stickers on bottom of plastic cups. How are you really washing them and the easy peel stickers not coming off? If you think this is decent food then you need to either get out more or... More

My husband and I stopped in on our way home from Colorado based on Trip Advisor reviews. Whenever possible, we stay away from chains and try to seek out family owned or independent restaurants. We ordered chicken enchiladas and they were excellent!!!! We also appreciated that we could order a full strength Mexican beer, not always easy in Utah. Margaritas... More

We live in California so we know and love Mexican food. This was some of the best we have had. My husband had Machaca and I had a Chimichanga. Both dishes were full of shredded beef and lots of goodies. We wanted our meal to go since we had been on the road all day and wanted to watch USA... More

We had a long delayed drive from Vegas to cedar city and stopped he for a meal. The rice and beans are authentic and excellent. My meal came out incorrect but it was quickly resolved. The salsa bar is awesome! Limited cocktails but great selection of meal items. The service was very good too.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived. There are no reservations & you do not put your name on a waiting list. You gave to wait for a server to notice you & show you to a table . The menu was varied & food was plentiful. Each table got chips. & salsa to start. There was also a... More

We stopped in at Lupita's for lunch today and what a good lunch we had. For starters the chips and salsa were home made fresh, and delicious. They also have a free salsa bar with a nice assortment of delicious salsas and three kinds of beans. My wife and I both had the chicken fajita burrito. It came with rice... More
