Good Dinner Stop, Older Cafe.

We have enjoyed breakfasts (twice) and dinner (3 times) when visiting Cedar City in the past couple of years. This a basic Cafe, a bit older than some of the newer places downtown. It's on UT-56 about a mile West of I-15 and opens early (6am) A good thing for early risers like us. Good solid... read more

This was a typical Diner with diner fare. Just so you know, the menu that tripadvisor has listed for this restaurant is incorrect. It must be for some other restaurant. This restaurant does not offer anything listed on the menu that tripadvisor has posted.

This place is a great little restaurant. I consistently get good service. The food is prepared in front of you by the cook. The Market Grill has what you would expect for a small family-owned, American family-style food. While it isn't fancy, the food is well prepared and the service is good.

I read about this restaurant in the "Roadfood" Book. The outside look is deceiving, I would call it rustic. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Although the menu is limited there is something for everyone. The food was excellent and I had one of the best tasting rib-eye steaks that I have eaten in awhile. Portions are very good.... More

Unfortunately we only had one night to spend in this cool town. The desk clerk at our hotel recommended the Market Grille. The restaurant was clean an conveniently located. Our server was adequate, didn't have a great knowledge of the menu but she did a great job. My wife ordered the special, which was a flat iron steak, which came... More

My girlfriend and her parents all work here, so of course I had to go--to try the food and meet the friends who'd heard about me. Both times we ate there, the food was delicious and everyone was extremely nice! The way the grill is set up is right behind the bar, which makes it fun--you can watch your food... More

Returning from a fishing trip to Lake Powell, we were looking for a place to have a country breakfast. We weren't in the mood for the institutionalized breakfast menu. We were referred to this place by a gas station attendant. We ordered bacon and eggs and hashbrowns. The bacon was thick and cooked to perfection. The hashbrowns were golden brown... More

After leaving Bryce Canyon we found that there was nothing within 2 hours that was open. We made our way to Cedar City and found this place. The menu is a little small and although I was hoping to get chicken I ended up with the prime rib. It came with a roll and baked potato. The steak was perfectly... More

This local family restaurant has a limited menu and is a favorite of local cowboys and ranchers. It is located on the edge of a stockyard (unpaved parking area). We discovered this eating gem on the way to Lake Havasu (AAA rated). Hamburgers second to none are often served with homemade mashed potatoes. If you like fries, you are out... More
