Milts has a really fine salad bar, not huge, but excellent variety of ingredients and nice dressings. They have a senior menu with reduced portions, which is a very nice touch which we appreciate. My wife had the senior Filet Mignon which was just perfect and I had a beautifully prepared Orange Roughy fish dish. Both came with nicely sautéed... More

I wanted some place nice for my Birthday celebration so my hotel recommend Milts. We had a 7:00 reservation seated promptly. Rolls and butter along with water soon after being seated. Waitress came and took our order for our soft drinks. She then returned to take our order in which we both wanted the prime rib, she said it was... More

Drove past Milts about 5 times while we were vacationing in the area. it was always full. so, we decided to have a night there as we were heading down to Cedar City for the Shakespeare festival. it is the western steak house that it professes to be. good salad bar, good meal, good service. the only reason it doesn't... I have been visiting Cedar City twice yearly for over a decade, but had never eaten here. I tried it for the first time last night. The hummingbirds and beautiful scenery outside the windows were beautiful, but food was lacking, in general. The salad bar was fresh, but lacked originality. The steak was fresh and prepared as requested, but not... More

Shelly, I'm sorry you were disappointed in your trip to Milt's. We take great pride in the quality of food that we send out of our kitchen, and I feel terrible about you only receiving a marginal meal. I really hope you will give us another try. If you have any recommendations for improving our salad bar, I would love... More

We spent 4th of July in Cedar City, Utah. We decided to try Milt's for dinner as we were hungry for steak. The restaurant is located in Cedar Canyon in the mountains above Cedar City. It is set in a wooded area and has a rustic appearance. We recommend early reservations as the place fills up very quickly. We were... More

We each had a different steak - mine the filet, which was outstanding. My friend had the rib eye, which he said was terrific. The whole meal was perfect and the wait was minimal and staff very nice. We each had a lovely salad and the whole meal was delightful. Would definitely go again.

Milts is a rustic, historic spot with good food and service. The drive from Cedar City, through Cedar Canyon to the restaurant is lovely.

Only about 15 minutes outside of Cedar City, UT in a beautiful mountain setting. This family run steak and seafood restaurant is delightfully rustic and well run. Good food at a reasonable price!1

We ate dinner here on a Sunday evening. While we had 5 PM reservations, they weren't really needed at that time. The drive up the canyon wasn't far and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. Warm rolls were provided and a carafe of ice water was at each table. The salad bar was nice and fresh. There are many... More

Cedar City is a country town surrounded by ranchers and thrives on farms, tourism and the university there. Nut hidden away up the canyon going towards Cedar Breaks National Monument is Milt's Stage Stop, a cozy steakhouse busy with locals and a few tourists lucky enough to discover it. Very casual and homey, Milt's has an incredibly friendly staff and... More
