This is not a big city and nothing fancy. So, don't expect much from all the restaurants, especially those coming from a large metropolitan. This is the best coffee place in Cedar City. Just like Starbucks with all the various coffee, frapachino, latte, mocha, etc. Quality is decent and price is fair. The pastries are OK and didn't tasted like... More

We are coffee snobs, and this coffee was very good by our finicky standards. The Grind has lots of big cozy chairs, and seems to be the meeting place for college age locals.

Not sure how to rate this place since I came for a chai tea latte and the man said it would be the best I ever had...... but it was awful, however the place itself was awesome with its decor and spacious seating area with lots of comfy options. We only came in to get a drink and get back... More

Strangers on a quest for great coffee, something to eat and an atmosphere to wrap around us like an old comforter. We found it at the Grind. The easy chairs were heavenly, the employees made us smile and then chuckle. Lucked out since it was a Wednesday and a local knitting group was meeting at one of the large community... More

You can have a bite to eat, sip something hot or cold, relax and visit with friends in the comfort of easy chairs or at a table, or zone out with your earbuds in while studying or reading something from Main Street Books connected to the Grind! Love it! It's so homey!

Enjoyed their frozen mochas so much, we stopped in every afternoon! It was a great treat after a day of hiking :)

I love coffee houses like this: the antithesis of a Starbucks. Offering a warm and somewhat quirky ambiance, fabulous breakfast sandwiches, well-prepared coffees and quick, friendly service. I wish these people well with continued success.

We liked the atmosphere in the coffee shop but the coffee was terrible. I will admit I am not a coffee expert but I did not think this coffee was drinkable. My husband ordered the chai and it was good.

I got a hot chocolate w/ a shot of cherry syrup and a breakfast croissant. Service time was quick, and the staff were pleasant to talk with. The decor is funky-artsy on the south wall, but rustic/outdoor hunter on the north side. Being attached to a bookstore is a smart idea for a slow saturday morning.

Staying at KOA, day tripping to Bryce and Zion. Fund The Grind in the KOA brochure. Just coffee the first day. I had a city roast that was either over-brewed or just icky. Husband had an Ethiopian that was good. Second day, breakfast and coffee. Great breakfast sandwiches with real eggs and fresh veggies. Bread and cheese options. We both... More
