Nice place to chill and check out the beers

We found the House of Brews on Yelp and decided to come here to check out their beers. I love beer so checking out new micro-breweries is a priority for me! This restaurant on 46th street has a small front but pretty deep inside with a long bar on the left as you walk in. There are a few tables... read more

Been here twice with a group of people. Both times had good service and decent pub food. Second time was here during happy hour with certain beers only $5. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chilled out place to drink.

My friends and I were in NYC, we park in front of the bar. We didn't have any coins for pay the parking, so I came inside the bar to ask for an exchange. I was bounced from waiter to waiter and after at 15-20 minutes of waiting, a rude guy kick me out saying that they don't have coins.... More

I visited the House of Brews on Restaurant Row in November 2015, and would very happily return if I’m back in NYC sometime. I went there on a Sunday early-evening, for drinks and a bite to eat before going to a show. The place had a nice atmosphere and was fairly busy but not full. Service was friendly and efficient,... My friends and I were in NYC and wanted to visit my son at Becco, but he was too busy, so we went a couple doors down to House of Brews and had a wonderful time while we waited. Adam was a wonderful bartender and nice to look at!

Nice bar with great choice of ales all with varying degrees of alcoholic content. I had read that bar staff tend to talk a lot and seen it on TV. Now I know it's true, though not to take away from the young girls beer knowledge as she was good but as my first pint went down pretty quickly as... More

I stopped in for a beer. The bar staff were very friendly and there was a good choice of craft beers on tap and beers by the bottle. Well worth a visit

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
