We loved it for its fresh tasty tomato pepperoni pizza with crispy crust with just enough blackened on the crust and the edges of the pepperoni too. Service was friendly; suggested a local dark beer on tap that really hit the spot! Have not tried some of the entrees; not sure I want to since the primary reason we have... More

Charging for each topping at just shy of $3 per selection, on top of a very basic calzone is unrealistic, and when it turned up it was definitely sub-standard, with very little of the sausage or mushrooms in the mix. The chicken with spaghetti was ok, but the Parmesan provided was mass produced / catering quality pre grated. Not something... More

Came across this place while walking around looking for dinner,Menu looked ok so went in,service was quick and spent most of the time listening to the bartender chatting up the waitress (so to speak)we were the only ones in the place at this time felt like we were intruding, anyway the pizza was great,in fact the calzone was the best... I have been to New York City three times in the last two years. Each time in town I try to get a pizza from here. It is really good pizza. I really enjoy it.

I've traveled to New York several times on business and have eaten at Angelo's on each occasion. I've been to 2 of their actual restaurants, the most recent being the one on 57th street where we sat at a table on the second floor overlooking the street, which was pretty cool. I've only had their pizza, but it's absolutely delicious.... More

We ate here twice - one before (while waiting 30 minutes before the show taping) and one for dinner after the show. The terimisseau was a large, very tasty slice. The chicken alfredo was about a 6/7 out of 10 (kind of on the dry side). My wife had a small pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and olives (said they were... More

Hopped over here after a Carnegie Hall performance. Tight little restaurant but really good. The waiters are efficient without being rude. Salads were fresh. Wine selection not bad. Pizza was sooooo good. Worth going in but more for the food then the ambiance.

It's a pizzeria and they serve great pizza. That's all there is to it really. Decent enough service and atmosphere.

Angelo's felt like a traditional New York restaurant. We went there twice during our week in the city.

We ate here on the first night of our stay in NYC. It was just around the corner from our hotel. Had a large pizza (between two) and it was lovely. It was made with fresh ingredients and was plenty between 2. On a busy Friday night we went into the restaurant again for a quick pizza, this time the... More
