Good Food with friendly staff

We chose this restaurant as it was handy for our hotel and to take a break from steak or burgers, and it was a pleasant find. This was such a good restaurant but sadly it is not the restaurant it used to be. We went there because it has always been a good Italian restaurant to get pizza, pasta and salad. The caprese salad used to be amazing but now it has lost its taste. The pizza was one of the best but now.. Not so... More

I was impressed by the menu variety for a "Pizza" place. The place has a very European feel to it. Staff was so-so, not to talkative. Food itself was OK. My granddaughter had an alfredo dish and I had pizza. Both were just OK. The best thing was the fresh made soup.

I sat downstairs. Cozy place. Fresh ingredients. Great bread. But the real treat was the soup. Loved the pasta fagioli - seeped with bacon. Bacon makes everything better! Pleasant service from Jayde.

The Food was ok but that is all that is ok. The service was the worst we have seen in the US. Slow, not interested and making mistakes. And then asking for a 20% tip!

A fantastic place to eat pizza on 57th street right outside the Le Parker Meridien. We ate there twice in one 7 day visit and it was great on both occasions.

We came here on the recommendation of a hotel door man a few blocks away, as we wanted a proper New York pizza. We were taken to a table upstairs by a friendly member of staff. We ordered the calamari appetiser and a small pizza with pepperoni and garlic to share with a 1/2 bottle of pinot noir. It came... More

If you are craving NY Pizza like I was, this is the place. Cozy restaurant with a good atmosphere and wonderful service. You don't have to spend a lot in NYC to get really good food. I have been here before and I will happily go back.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
