It was windy and cold when we stopped in the Time Warner Center and then decided we were hungry Bouchon Bakery seemed intriguing. We were happily surprised that this is more than a bakery; full meals are served. The food is not what one expects and was very good. Well cooked and well served. For... read more

I would definitely recommend this bakery for the simply fact that the desserts are amazing. Well made with a wonderful taste. Specially the lemon tart and a chocolate one that I forgot the name but I will share the picture. Love it!

I'm not gonna lie, for as glamorous as the Bouchon line of restaurants are, the Bakery & Café aren't exactly in the most happenin' spot of Manhattan (although the view of Central Park is fantastic). Regardless, I came to get their macarons at around 2pm on Sunday, and the line wasn't terribly long, shockingly - as with any famous place,... More

I am a big fan on the Bouchon Bakery in Yountville, Ca. So I made a special trip to the Columbus Circle location during my recent trip to NYC. I stood in line, which moved quickly, to buy my favorite cookies Nutter Butter and Oreo. The Nutter Butter is huge and I ate it slowly over the entire day. I... More

The Bouchon bakery cafe at Columbus Circle serves a limited menu of excellent food, with great views out over Central Park. Well worth a visit for lunch

Great place to make a quick stop to have lunch. Delicious simple plates: sandwiches, roasted chicken, salads, grilled salmon, and yummy pastries. The service was very good!

I have been to this restaurant many time for lunch and dinner. Usually, it is a fine sport for a nice lunch or quick dinner.. I had a reservation for dinner in Mid December and was surprised to find that there was no table available for me. The hostess apologized and said that a customer walked up and "demanded" my... Despite having many spare seats anyone wanting coffee and pastries only were directed to the self serve area where there were no seats. NY is full f choice - go somewhere else.

It's location is perfect and the food has not match for a quick snack place. I just would like to see more places to sit while eating, as the demand is so high that it is a real challenge to find a chair.

Met an old friend for lunch a few days before Thanksgiving. After a short wait we were seated with a nice view of Columbus Circle. Had a very tasty quiche with a salad. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. This is a great place to meet for an upscale lunch.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
