Good place to relax and take in the views of Columbus Circle

Cheese platter was recommended by the server. Very good to accompany the white wine we order. Be careful to watch the sign of the hours they are open, a patron was told they were closed and to just read the sign.....

We stopped here for a quick snack while walking south from Lincoln Center to the Theatre District. Easy to find, and busy. We stood in line, ordered two pastries and coffee. After some confusion between associates taking the order, we had our sticky bun and chocolate almond croissant, and oh, by the way, an additional sticky bun. Seating was at... More

You have to make reservations for the cafe. Service was great, food fantastic...will definitely head back when I am in the city again. Have been to Per Se and French Laundry - never ceases to amazes me.

We had a lovely lunch at the cafe at Bouchon Bakery. They have a retail bakery, a full service cafe, and a small bar. The cafe includes a communal table for solo diners and there are no reservations so come early if you want to avoid a long wait as it is usually crowded. The cafe truly lives up to... More

We both ordered the Cobb Salad with chicken, blue cheese, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, bacon, hard boiled egg and house dressing. The bread was fresh. The salad was extremely large. It can be for two. Christina, our server, was very attentive. She refilled our water glasses and asked how everything was.

We had a late lunch at the restaurant and found the portions meagre and the cost very high for what we received. If you are stuck for somewhere to go after shopping "The Circle" - this would do. The view, however, is fabulous, overlooking the Park and what I am sure are far better restaurants!

My wife and I had lunch here and were very pleased. I had the smoked salmon sandwich and she had a corned beef sandwich. For dessert we had croissants which were equally delicious. The coffee was also great.

I love Bouchon for brunch or lunch. The service is superb, always. The view cannot be beat...you are on the 3rd floor in front of a 3-4 story window facing Central Park and Manhattan. I have never been disappointed in the food. yesterday I had a croque monsieur on thick brioche, without the ham, topped with a fried egg. Wow. For... More

Tried this bakery based upon its reputation and it was good. I recommend the Mango Eclair but the Chocolate Eclair isn't as noteworthy. I'd visit again and would recommend trying their cafe if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to send someone there. I was surprised at how slow the service was...prepare yourself to... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
