Good Morning Espresso!

My husband and I did a NYC day trip arrived 7am. We went straight to Chelsea Market and looked for coffee. I saw this little coffee place by the corner. I think we had the Brazil & IT WAS REALLLLY GOOOOOD! We had to take some home. It's one of the best coffee places I've been to.

We were so happy to find this place through trip advisor reviews. Absolute perfection in a cup that we walked out of our way for everyday.

A great place to catch up with friends, sit and watch the world go by or grab a coffee on the run. The alphabet city location is quiet with a nice vibe and most importantly has amazing coffee!

Really, the title says it all. Ninth Street Espresso is a comfortable, clean coffee spot with coffee that is a little better than average!

They have good coffee. The ice coffee was strong. They sell whole beans espresso and coffee to go. If you buy a bag you get a free coffee

This is what a coffee shop should be. Informal, with good music and good coffee. These people know what they're doing. Can't go wrong here. A favorite spot!

As a coffee purist, I have been to coffee bars around the world. This is the best. Pure smooth espresso, with or without milk. They know coffee. Standing room only.

We popped into 9 St. Espresso on a recommendation of a friend and both the iced coffee and the regular coffee was the best I ever had. They also had an underwater photographer show some awesome underwater photos on the wall. It was an awesome experience all for under $10!

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
