Snowy Saturday

Very festive atmosphere. Very accommodating to me. Requested to watch a hockey game (Wings vs. Islanders) & within minutes it was on. Felt like I was at home.

We went here after a long day and lots of walking. Friendly staff, good inexpensive food. I had fish and chips, my husband had a burger. Lively spot, with lots of atmosphere.

The food is tasty and the prices are fair. We had Shepard Pie and Tacos. For entertainment there are several sport channels on the TVs. So you are up to date ask the time. We would come back.

Spent a Sunday night at this pub. Nice selection of beers and tv's to catch the game. The place was busy late into the night.

Second visit to NYC and I'm glad to say the Lansdowne Rd is still a great sports bar. It's just off 42nd Street and is just far enough away from Times Square for the prices to be reasonable, without losing the quality. Food and drinks are great. The atmosphere is rowdy at times, but not threatening and watch out for... More

We popped in on our 1st night in NYC. Friendly guy behind the bar, numerous sports on many TV screens and good music. We also had something to eat there a few hours before we left New York. Good food and friendly staff again. I will definitely visit this place again if I return to NYC.

We headed to a local bar to watch Sunday afternoon football (My husband had asked one of the locals at the One World Trade Center the other day where to go and watch the game in Midtown). We went to Lansdowne Road. It is a great sports bar with lots of craft beers and good pub food. The bar was... More

Wasn't as good as I expected. Female bar staff focus on serving males in groups and were inattentive when serving food etc. got boneless chicken wings which were alright. All round fine but would not return and I'm Irish so it isn't that I have grand expectations of what an Irish pub is like!

Has unfortunately gone down hill, was great when it first opened, but service and quality of food has gone south, they also once had the best thin crust pizza in town, but they took it off the menu, prices have also gone up, and on Sundays the NFL crowd makes the place a noisy madhouse, lots of better sports bars... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
