Great dinner on Saturday night. Excellent service. Appetizers, main course and dessert were fantastic. One of the best Cuban dinners I've ever had, either in NYC, Chicago, or Miami. Looking forward to coming back.

Tucked away on Christopher Street just past Bleeker in the Village is a wonderful find. The wait staff was wonderful and made great suggestions from the menu. The food matches the huge bright, colorful mural on the dining room wall. We used a Travelzoo so it was a great value but even paying full price the menu is reasonable by... More

This was the worst place I have ever eaten at in my life, please AVOID! The staff were all so rude, especially the bald man who served us, he even laughed at us when we asked if the air con was on as it was very hot! The food was awful, I had the soft shell crab which was actually... More

Havana Alma de Cuba was a great little place in Greenwich village. My wife and I used a Travel zoo deal here. The food was fantastic as were the sangrias and wait staff. I recommend sitting out back in the little courtyard sandwiched between typical New York brownstones, businesses and apartments. This was our firs trip to NYC and eating... More

I have dined at this restaurant a few times and the food is very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is very attentive. If you are in the area I would recommend on giving it a try.

The restaurant is small and nicely decorated. The menu offers a nice variety of offerings. We started out with the ceviche of the day, tostones rellenos, and montadito de chorizo. For entrees we had fufu con camarones, lechon asado, vaca frita, ropa vieja and the chicken special of the day. Everything was well prepared and quite flavorful. The service was... More

Went here for an early birthday dinner on a Sat night. The waitstaff was playful but attentive which made for a fun environment. Food was great and our server was very pleasant, engaging us in conversation beyond just the normal waiter/server discussions. Drinks were amazing. Go for my favorite, Havana Nights or my wife's, 100 Fuegos. Sangria was wonderful and... More

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night along with some friends, we read the reviews and it seemed like a good place to go. The service was not very good, Our waiter, who happened to be in charge for the night, was screaming at the other service staff in front of clients and speaking in... More

Cubans are noisy, New Yorkers are noisy, students are noisy. Havana Alma de Cuba offers unlimited cocktails for two hours a day at its little corner of Cuba in West Village, not far from NYU. It is not quiet. It is fun. Even more important, the food is excellent. Fufu con camarones made a wonderful piquant starter. Bistec a caballo... More

If you are looking for a great meal and great service while you are in New York City, you just have to go to West Village. Here you find everything you would ever ask for at Havana Alma de Cuba.
