In the heart of Greenwich Village!

The restaurant specializes in Cuban and Latin food. They offer "Happy Hour" from 5-7, Margaritas, Sangria, Mojitos for $5 dollars. The food was good, a little salty for my taste. Service was good and attentive. I recommend the Lechon and Ropa Vieja.

AMAZING, AUTHENTIC CUBAN FOOD! The food here was absolutely delicious and not over priced! Mojitos fit for a fiend! Garlic shrimp, maduros, tostones, ropa vieja & yuca! We had it all and can't wait to have it again!

My family and I ate here for my sister's birthday, and we had never had Cuban food before, but this place was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and gave good recommendations on which dishes to try. The food was fantastic and the cocktails were delicious too!

Made a reservation online but did not receive the confirmation. Fortunately, the reservation was there when we arrived. First seated inside after we were advised that there was no space in the garden. A few minutes later, we were offered a lovely corner table in the garden and gladly accepted. We tasted the special lobster cakes as a shared appetizer... More

Cute little restaurant tucked away on a less busy street in the West Village. It is a small restaurant with a small patio in back. The cocktails were mixed expertly here. This was one of the best Caipirinha's I have ever had. My friends ordered the beef empanadas and loved them. They loved them so much they wanted to try... More

This tiny hole in the wall was such a great find as we were wandering around the village. Open table said they could not accommodate parties larger than four, but when the five of us walked in, they took us out to this wonderful courtyard, in the back, and pushed some tables together for us, no problem. The food was... More

Came across this spot while checking out restaurant reviews in advance of a friend's birthday. It seemed reasonably priced by NYC standards and had mostly positive reviews. So we gave it a go. This restaurant is pretty small, so I am glad we made a reservation. We were arrived a bit early and were seated early. Our server was very... More

Went on a Thursday night. The front of the restaurant is small (12 tables or so). Did not see the patio area, but my daughter said it was cute. We had sangria (yummy), the calamari appetizer, which was delish, and a perfect portion for 2 if you're starving, or 3 if you plan on dessert. I had the chuletas (grilled... More

I am a native New Yorker. But I no longer live here so I'm visiting and went to the city on a whim. Picked this restaurant. It was a winner. Small and quaint, but full of charm. With outside patio space. The food was delicious. It's worth going too.

A friend and I dined here last week. Despite rain, we had a dry spot in lovely back patio. Started with pork empanadas with tasty seasoning. Entrees were Pescado Miramar and Salmon Santa Clara--both flavorful though not what one thinks of as traditional Cuban cuisine. Server friendly and attentive.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
