Good food for group service

Ate here as part of a group tour. Food was good, served family style, but wait staff did not inform us of what they were providing so we had a guessing game to try and determine what we were offered.

Always have the same things here so can't speak for a menu that is very diverse but the Cantonese Wanton Soup with Roast Duck and Cellophane Noodle and the Szechuan Dumpling Appetizer are amazing! Used to live in the tri-state and this has been a favorite for many years. Always go back when I'm in town.

I was walking to a place on the West Side, an area where I rarely travel, and purely by chance walked past this restaurant. It was late afternoon. I was a bit hungry. Given the time, I was surprised to see that the restaurant was somewhat full of people. I glanced at someone's plate looking through the window. It looked... More

One of the great Chinese restaurants in New York City. Delightful food, very fast to take order and even faster in getting the food piping hot to you. Recommended for all Chinese food lovers.

Make sure you are sure what you are ordering. I ordered mango chicken thinking like home it will be chicken with some mango style sauce. The waiter then asked what ketchup I wanted, I was a bit perplexed as to what she meant but the language barrier was to far to bridge so I just said yes. When it came... More

Had lunch in this midtown Chinese restaurant; chicken and string beans. The food was quite tasty, the beans crisp. The vegetable fried rice was nice. The food wasn't greasy. My only gripe was there should have been about a third more chicken. Perhaps this deficient was a cost savings as the dish was on their lunch menu.

Stumbled across this restaurant a couple of months ago when wandering down 8th Ave. Also went there today for lunch, portions are large and food is good but not great but I would rather go here than take a chance on some of the hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants around that neighborhood. Service is definately not with a smile but they are... More

Just opposite New Yorker Hotel so very convenient but the outside doesnt look fancy so its easy to miss. We had a variety of dishes all were tasty and fresh. We were surprised at the bill because of the location . It was far less than we expected to pay.

We ate here twice during our holiday. Both times the food was excellent, the staff were swift and helpful. I recommend the mango chicken!

I looked this restaurant up as we wanted something close to our hotel & not have to battle through the throngs.. Big Mistake!! Got seated quickly, ordered duck which was mostly fat & no duck! Husband got beef chowder & to quote 'Bowl of snot'. Main course arrived Beef schezwan which was stringy chewy meat served up with a mountain... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
