My husband and I were in NYC for a quick trip this week and walked by this cute little Italian restaurant on our way to another stop. We decided to try it out for an early dinner and were SO happy with our choice! We had the fried zucchini and eggplant appetizer and the lasagna and a pizza for the... More

Popped in for a quick lunch - yum, yum, yum. I had a shrimp caesar salad and my husband had shrimp linguini and both were a good size and absolutely delicious - not to be faulted in any way. Topped off with the BEST EVER cheesecake either of us have ever had. BTW, staff were fantastic too.

Yummy pizza. Thin flavorful crust crispy on edges. Good tasting sauce. Excellent mozzarella. Plentiful toppings. We thought a large was too much for 3, but it disappeared :-)

We don't come to New York without getting a pie from Patsy's. Their pastas are always excellent. The seafood pasta is particularly outstanding!

We had dinner here a few nights ago on the recommendation of a local New Yorker. It was our last night in NYC and were looking for something casual but good. He highly recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a very narrow entrance but runs deep and has a second floor. The calamari was really... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
