Don't be fooled by the size of a place...every dish is cooked to order here and is authentic and very reasonably priced. This is a favorite of Asian students at NYU and they should know what is good .

Saigon Market is a good restaurant. I have ate their many times. I went their for dinner and it was good but not the best. The food is so-so. The service is so-so. The portions were pretty big. I ordered #79 which was pan fried crispy egg noodles topped with vegetables and your choice of beef, fish, chicken, or vegetables.... More

If you're ever in Union Square or Greenwich Village, check out this hidden gem! The only thing I ever order are their string beans and/or Bun Xao (number 78...I think). Those two dishes never cease to amaze me. Whenever I eat there, my pockets aren't empty and my tummy is happy!! Avoid going here for dinner on Friday and Saturday... More

We went in a cold, rainy day and the steaming bowls of phos here were just the thing we needed. However, we've been to better Vietnamese restaurants in the country and in Asia. First, the name of the restaurant is a misnomer because besides Vietnamese food, the restaurant also offers Thai and Asian dishes. Also, the dishes have clearly been... More

Big portions and prompt service. Perfect for a lunch when you have limited time and want good food. The lunch specials offer the best bargain. The place is big with tables to accommodate large groups. We had our department luncheon there.

Stuck in a Lawyer's office conference room in the upper East-Side of Manhattan for an extended meeting. I knew they had planned to cater a meal for all of us so we wouldn't have to leave the building. When I saw it was something from an Asian restaurant, I expected the standard Asian fair - you know - the stuff... More

The Saigon Grill in Manhattan is now no more, thanks to the excesses of its greedy owners who stole from their own employees and who lost their way on the Upper West Side of New York. However, the Saigon Grill restaurant management in Greenwich Village bought themselves out and now continue to thrive with their world-famous La Sa Tom, an... More

The coconut soup with shrimp was fresh and excellent. As was the spinach. Service was good.Skip the tiramisu dessert. It was frozen in the middle and pretty tasteless.

You'll have to read another review about the food. I got a recommendation from the door man at the bar across the street (Off the Wagon) to try their cucumber lemonade. It was absolutely AMAZING! So amazing, I'm writing a review just for it. If you are walking through the Village on a hot day (I was there in August),... More
