Good food and good value

Ate dinner here tonight and ordered the half seafood and half black bean noodles. It was $12.99. Good value and tasted great. Service is good as well. It's not in Koreatown but there are other Korean restaurants close by.

We dined twice at this restaurant, once for take out and once for dine in. The food is reasonably priced and very well cooked. The service when we dined in was outstanding, with very attentive and helpful waitstaff. It was convenient to our hotel also and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant

We enjoyed a very tasty meal. The chef's meat with broccoli was superior, the steamed dumplings and the seafood noodles were also great. The seafood soup with noodles wasn't as good as the other dishes. Prices are not high, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.

Dropped in with the wife to experience the food. Was not disappointed. Good quite tasty. Portions big. Service friendly and quick. Not that expensive.

We stayed at Comfort Inn during our visit to New York, we looked for a simple restaurant to eat. And we found this restaurant across the street and tried to eat there. We were so surprised, the food was delicious and the price was affordable (may be it can be considered cheap for New York standard). They served Chinese food,... More

In Australia we have more Chinese Restaurants than any other cuisine so we were delighted to find the Hyo Dong Gak right opposite our hotel. Some of our favourite restaurant choices were missing from the menu but there is still an ample choice. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience, the seating is comfortable and the service is prompt and friendly.... More

Good mix of Korean and Chinese cuisine. Noodle dishes are very good and come with a scissors for extra help. The brown seafood sauce works well.

Incredibly poor service, I've left some tips on my receipt and the waiter, really rude asked me why I left just that small amount of tips, the food was really poor, I've been there with a groupon code and I had a (veggie) tofu and a mixed vegetable sautéed in brown sauce. Nothing special. I wouldn't go back there again... More

I really like this place a lot and this is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their food is good, they use no MSG, and it's not very crowded after all.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
