Had dinner here with a friend. The mixed bento box style menu was very tasty, plenty of food and good value. Service was fine and the place is clean. I'd definitely go back.

I discovered this little sushi restaurant about a 2 years ago, I find it to be the best sushi on First Avenue..the owner is very friendly, the prices are extremely reasonable.... just a great spot for lunch if you work in the area, the service is excellent especially when you have Sherri as your server, she is very friendly, very... Probably the worst sushi I had in NYC. The fish was ok, but the rice was not. Not expensive but I am sorry it does not taste good your rice. It seemed the rice used for the nigiri was 2 days old. I noticed a lot of people leaving the rice on the plate and eating only the fish in... More

I have been going to Suzu Sushi for over 10 years and the food is always excellent. It is a minimalist décor type of place but the food is real authentic Japanese and it is worth going there. It is not expensive compared to other sushi restaurants in the city.

Nice place for a sushi lunch. Started with a good soup, ended with a great sushi and maki. Freshly salamon and well prepared rice. Server was polite and fast. Would recommend it for a great sushi lunch!

We happened upon Suzu Sushi while we were wandering around Midtown headed to the Central Park periphery. We made a mental note to go back there in a few hours when we got hungry for dinner. Luckily it was open until 11pm (as most places are luckily) so we made it in time after a little walk around the neighborhood.... More

Good sushi, chicken hibachi was average. Waiters quick and helpful, however I didn't like the fact that when I asked for a little bit of extra rice with my hibachi I was given it in a tiny cup and charged an extra $3

This place was just beneath our apartment when staying in New York. We went here based on trip advisor reviews and glad we did. The children had a feast on the very fresh cucumber rolls particularly. We don't eat fish sushi so can't comment on those. Definitely worth a visit to this little place of you are in the area.

My nephew suggested that we go to this restaurant as it was close to where I was staying. It is a "hole in the wall" with maybe 12 tables, but the food is excellent. I took home some of my dinner and it was still delicious tonight. I am sure that I have passed it many times and probably would... More
