Breakfast until noon

Applebee's at 42nd street offers breakfast until noon. If you waked up latter there you can have Pancakes, bacon, eggs (in your way), toasts, bagel etc. There you will have a good meal to start your day.

Restaurant was very busy yet many hostesses were standing around. We ordered food to go from the bar because we were staying in the connected hotel. First they told us one item on the menu they did not carry (black bean burger). We modified it (veggie burger) and waited. 15 min in they told us that we could not sit... More

First night in New York, thought we'd play it safe with a well-known chain - what a mistake! Shame because our server was really nice but food took over an hour to arrive with no explanation for the lateness. Steak was dry and overcooked, chicken was bland. Ate it all because we didn't want to wait another hour for it... More

Even Applebees needs to charge extra in Times Square. But this is a cozy restaurant in a great location -- and the food is quite tasty. We got seats next to the window and could watch all sorts of entertaining characters walk by. The wait staff was solicitous, even maybe to the point of being obsequious. The perfect place to... We went for breakfast and were appalled by staff behaviour. Our server, a male was perfectly polite to us but was loudly being given grief by the girl running the till. They seemed to all be squabbling over stupid things, in front of guests. It was really quite uncomfortable. The food was fine, I was disappointed but my partner seemed... More

Born and raised in Brooklyn, I understand that prices in the city will be high, but Applebee's broke our bank. REALLY? It would have been better to go to ghetto BBQ's across the street. The food horrible, the service even worse and let's not talk about dirty table. Not a fan of the place, but figured it's a chain so... More

The food was alright, but really good staff. Nothing too special. There are better places to eat down the road further in time square.

This restaurant was right next to our hotel so it was the most convenient place to get something to eat. We went in for a late afternoon lunch/dinner. It wasn't very busy at that hour and yet they were going to seat us at a table in a side section. We requested a table by the window and they complied.... More

We stopped in at Applebee's for a brilliant breakfast before our trip to the Ripley's Museum which is right next door. The staff are super welcoming and the service just gets better and friendlier the longer you stay. My daughter had warm oats and enjoyed every bit of it whilst we had traditional breakfasts which warmed our tummies and tickled... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
