One of the best burgers I've had - unexpected quality. Fast service and slow food quality. I would fully recommend and I always come here back while visiting NYC

This place is so busy they actually have a live web cam to show you how long the line is. Don't be discouraged though. The line moves along at a nice pace. If you are with others, someone should get in line, while others can wait for a table (if you plan on eating there, and you should - it's... More

Our New York trip was a rushed experience with little sleep in between! We knew we wanted to try this place but were not sure when we would make it there. The day of our Broadway show we had 2 tours before hand so needless to say we were running to the theater. After the show we found our way... More

We read about Shake Shack before our travels to NYC and figured that we had to check it out - I had read about this location being "the original spot", and we didn't necessarily plan on hitting it but just sort of found ourselves in Madison Square Park one late afternoon. The weather was a little dreary with some drizzling... More

Was a very nice sunny, but not hot, NYC afternoon. The Madison Park setting was a great venue to catch a burger. Although the lines were long I decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, when I got mine it was already cold and not that impressive. At least the shake was good.....

Lashings of butter oozing from the bun, plenty of sauce, wagu patties cooked in-house to perfection at medium rare, fresh lettuce and tomato, topped off with tasty cheese and washed down with a sweet double dollop shake. It’s giving me the sweats thinking about it. Depending on how hot the day is, you can choose beer over shakes and you’ve... More

This Shake Shack is in the middle of a small park and it's always crowded. We love this place and always managed to find a table after few minutes of wait. Try the Shroom Burger for a change.

Was fortunate to only want a shake as that was an express line. Only had to wait 5 minutes to get my delicious chocolate on chocolate shake. My whole family of 4 shared it and it was delicious.

Shake Shack delivers, what we find to be, the best burger in the world. They are just perfect in their simplicity. The bun! The meat! The tomatoes and lettuce! We think of ourselves as burger-junkies and have tried burgers all over the world and Shake Shack in Madison Square Park is the yard stick. Try the lemonade, add bacon to your... More

Very good burgers and great fries, but it's a pity that it is always so busy! The lines go way up in the park, but than again.. it is worth it! And the staff works hard, so before you know it it is your turn to order a tasty burger!
