Used to be awesome but slowly going down. Our office used to order all the time but not any more – burgers are dry and don’t taste as they used to. The place became a tourist location – if you are in NYC, you should try eating there – milkshake and burgers, sitting in the park – very nice! For... More

Great burgers, fries and milkshakes! Worth the 20 min of waiting! The place is nice located and the atmosphere good too.

The shake shack was really good. Burgers and shakes especially are great. It's worth getting there for either an early or late lunch as the queues are enormous at peak lunch time but would still be worth the wait!

We walked to Madison Square Park especially for The Shake Shack as we had heard some really good things about it! When we got there the first thing we saw was this almighty queue which went all the way around the park square leading to the restaurant! It didn't put us off though, we really wanted this food so we... More

That's a question really. I waited 45 minutes, but outside in MSG park on a nice day it's not so bad. Two stuck-up Girls behind me, amused me with their running diatribe on New York life. I ordered a Shake and a Burger. Both were really delicious. The Burger was small though. Not the very best Burger I've ever had,... More

I've been wanting to try the burgers, but the lines have kept me away...believe me, it's worth the wait! I got the Smokeshack...delicious, with apple smoke bacon & shack sauce! & French fries, also good. We went after a play in midtown, at 10 pm the line was still long, but moved fairly quickly.

Crossed one off my list when I visited the Shake Shack at Madison Park. The line to the stand was long, waited an hour but it was well worth it. Ordered a double shack burger, fries and a shake to booth. The bun was a clear winner (Not too squishy and not too hard) and the burger was great. The... More

I'm not big on burgers but if I were living in New York, I would eat at this place very very often. Modest and based on self service, you wait in line for these burgers and it is worth the wait. A huge selection of burgers and fries and other fast food suited for all tastes. It is fast but... More

Seriously - when I'm on the east coast, nothing beats a DoubleShack with cheese. The meat has such great flavor and the bun is perfect. My top 3 'non-gourmet' burgers in this order has to be: #1 Shake Shack, #2 In and Out (2x4, Animal Style) and #3 a double cheese at 5 Guys. Do yourself a favor, go there... More

no plates and you have to eat off a tray. The store on East 86th Street smells up the whole neighborhood with greasy meat smells. Nauseating
