Great BBQ great atmosphere... Chicken and ribs are amazing Great beer selection and huge space......
Wednesday night is a must. Pit-smoke wings are sweet and spicy. Well done. The cafeteria style layout makes it easy to dine, enjoy, and head up for seconds.
Visited in Sep 13, the food was OK but some of the meat could have been abit warmer. The sides were amazing and one thing is for sure, you are not going to go home hungry. There was a live band on which was great.
Read reviews that this was the best BBQ to go to.. Yes It was very authentic but I have never had such chewy ribs in my life.. I would of expected them to fall off the bone. However the Brisket was very good and the Mac and cheese was tasty.. Way to expensive for what you get and a bit... More
My wife and I randomly came across Hill Country while looking for a lunch spot over the weekend. PROS: 1. The ambiance is good for a Texas-style barbeque restaurant 2. The ordering process is a little weird, but the step by step on the menu card makes it very easy to figure out 3. The waitresses were very friendly CONS:... More

The meat is totally different than in Italy. I liked it even if some little part was not well cooked. I went there with a friend who lived in Texas and told me that over there you can find better meat. But it is in New York, it is ok to go with friends or family. I liked the concept.... More
Read reviews of Hill Country BBQ before we went to NYC and I will be honest and say it was okay! We went on Thanks Giving which might of been a mistake as it was a fixed menu but worked out they still offered the same selections of meat. The meat was cooked ok but not the best I have... More
The food, the setting, and the music made Hill Country a fun family lunch outing. Located on 26th Street just east of 6th it was a good place to eat before a Saturday afternoon Rangers' game at MSG. As first time visitors we did not expect to line up to place our orders, but the ribs, barbecue and sides were... More
