We are out of town visitors and heard about Amy's Bread. But the place is too tight to sit for four people. The line is too long and you have to get back to the end of same line again if by any chance you forgot to order another or additional item. The treatment is like soup nazi in Seinfeld... More

Coffee lovers rejoice... Amy's Bread really delivers! I almost cried with happiness when I tasted my latte this morning. Rich and smooth, strong but not bitter - we'll be back every morning until we fly out of NY. The almond brioche bread was superb as well. Well worth the trip to 9th Ave.

The coconut dream bar was to die for! The chocoholic twist and the cinnamon walnut scone were excellent as well! Didn't try the breads, but they looked delicious. Did not disappoint!

Excellent and delicious food! During the weekends always have a line but worth the wait. One of my favorite place in NY!

Pre-wrapped sandwiches to facilitate quick service - I'd rather have made fresh. Usually a line but it does move fast, After a disappointing sandwich, I limited myself to grabbing a cookie or mini olive oil cake for snacks on way to/from my neighborhood hotel.

We checked out Chelsea Market on a Sunday morning and our first stop was Amy's Bread. If I could put into words what it smelled like, I would! I ordered the coffee cake and it was amazing! Definitely worth your time to check out!

Anyone in the Times Square area looking to get away from the tourons and horrible food in the area need to step over to 9th to enjoy a real treat - great bread and pastries! This is old world flavor lost to most options and of greater value to any of the other overpriced food just a couple blocks away.... More

I love Amy's bread, it simply is one of the best bakeries ever. But in visiting the Ninth Ave location I also discovered their hot chocolate- again...simply the best! Its made with their own chocolate and housemade marshmallows. If you are in the mood for a wonderful cup on a cold day, I highly recommend it, along with a croissant... More

Tried 6 breads here today and all were astonishingly good. Perhaps the walnut roll was my favorite but hard to say. This bread is wonderfully chewy and has amazing texture which I normally only associate with Levain bread. The olive oil, almond cake isperfect. Not to sweet, delicious flavor, great texture. Reminded me of the famous almond cake on the... More

We were staying near Times Square and ate here with friends for breakfast. Very simple cafe, with a few tables at the back, but nice to get away from large chain starbucks typle places. Food was delicious (aren't pastries always good though?). Coffee was as expected... Atmosphere in the back was almost like a club - ,it seemed to me... More
