I was looking for a nice place for breakfast during my short layover in NYC.. and found it. A busy local bakery filled with wonderful home cooked breads and pastries with wonderful coffee and happy energetic staff. Worth the visit

Great staff, amazing bread and pastry range, good coffee and affordable. Can see why it is popular with locals. Try the cheese biscuits grilled and the almond French toast.

We went to Amy's for breakfast a Sunday morning, and were not disappointed. When we first browsed the selection, we all thought it was promising. It turned out the food and coffee were great. Will definitely go back!

Stopped by Amy's Bread after taking an early morning walk on the Highline. What a sweet place! Had a delicious ham and swiss breakfast sandwich- I think that they used a bun with some sort of herb...a great way to start the day! Nice coffee...

I'been here for more than 4 times, but this time the french bread I toasted was so so so hard and some kind of gummy...The reason is simple a few hours later a sandwich that you prepare and wrap with plastic will get from bad to worst...unfortunately you need your delis to be prepared in the moment. so, be careful... The baked goods are awesome. I went here everyday on my trip to NYC. It's all good - the bread, the cookies, the muffins, the pizza slices, the cake - really REALLY good. There's a great variety and I thought the staff was super friendly and efficient Don't let the line deter you - there is always a line but... More

If you are looking for a great Black and White cookie, than look no more. Amy's Bread in Hell's Kitchen is the absolute best! Baked fresh daily and at a very good price. While you are there, try their home made Hot Chocolate -- it is so good and made with chocolate ganash.

My daughter is still talking about the pink cake...We had a slice and cafe au lait's along with a sandwich. Everything was great - next time I will try the coconut cake.

While staying in New York, at the New Yorker on 8th and 35th, I decided to try out Amy's as I had heard great things. My partner slept late so I walked there in the morning, about 11 blocks. Took 15 minutes but 9th avenue was really interesting as I walked with dancers practicing steps and saw New Yorkers starting... More
