Great ice cream, including a bunch of unusual flavors (green tea, black sesame, almond cookie, etc.). Samples available.

I had a combined serving of black sesame and pistachio both of which were wonderfully creamy and the perfect pick-me-up after a warm walk around Chinatown. Bit of a line but it moved fast. Felt a little rushed or would've ask to try some of the more exotic sounding flavors.

If you're craving for exotic ice cream flavor, try the lychee or the almond cookie ice cream. No one can top this ice cream place for these two flavors. If you like vanilla or chocolate ice-cream, I tasted much better elsewhere (e.g. Big Gay ice cream or Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream store at East 7th Street.

When in Chinatown don't get some boring chocolate ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. Go all out and and stop at the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. You shouldn't miss out on some great ice cream in some unique flavors. The almond cookie and lychee berry are my favorites. However, if your brave try the durian fruit. It's not unusual... More

Do not miss topping off a delicious Chinese Dinner at the Peking Duck House without a visit to the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory a couple blocks away, perfectly flavored creamy ice cream awaits you here. My favorite the ginger ice cream, vanilla ice cream studded with little bits of delicious ginger. My son loves the lychee ice cream and my... More

Great choice of flavours the only problem is which to choose! Very good value for money. I had the green tea (very fruity) and the Zen Butter, which was just fantastic. It gives a good opportunity to explore some of chinatown, enjoy some dim sum and then finish it off with some great ice cream.

For the people who gave it bad scores not sure what they were talking about. The only thing they sell in that store is Ice Cream. My wife had the two scoops of the coconut. She was allowed to sample three or four different ones before picking the coconut. They stated they make the ice creams there. Not sure if... More

The flavors are very creative---we tried black sesame and red bean---both were delicious and not at all overly sweet. The prices are pretty high, with a cone running from 5-10 depending on what you get. The portions are big, so if recommend sharing a large cone with multiple flavors over getting individual servings.

So many unique flavors. We ended up splitting a scoop of Black Sesame. SO good! Heads up - they only take cash.

Delicious and unique flavors. Always a treat to stop in when shopping or dining in Chinatown. I usually get ginger ice cream. I don't get down there as often as I'd like. So, when I do, I often stick with old favorites. But they've got some other great sounding stuff that I must try They've been open since 1978 and... More
