Peruvian food and cocktails. We only stopped in for lunch to watch the World Cup. Typically they're not open as early. Their fries with sausage and dipping sauces was different, but very good. The sausage tasted more like a hot dog. Nice variety of draft beers and cocktails. My wife had the margarita which is served in a martini glass.... More

Well situated in the lively West Village, with a nice atmosphere but the food is very ordinary, with, ironically the ceviche the weakest dish we had. Service is friendly but not very efficient, slow and wrong orders delivered to tables.

I'm Peruvian and I went to a lot of Peruvian restaurants and I'm disappointed with this one. I prefer Warique in the Upper West 1000000 times more. The food is average here and the service is bad too. It is not fresh food and the drinks are not good either. I want to go to Warique after this.

We went there for a Saturday night dinner. Everything was beyond terrible. The food was bad, they didnt have most beers on tap. The food taste was very terrible & very expensive ($20 for boiled vegetables with sprinkled spices). The ceviche was tiny & soggy. They also overcharged us by adding 20% gratuity on a party of 2? They also... More

My visiting friend suggested that we should try this place because his friend recommended it. I was skeptical, but i said that I would give it a try. It was a major mistake. I had a paella; it was so blend. My other friends had picante, Aji de pollo, escaveche de pollo. they were all mediocre. The service was very... More

We walked in hoping for a nice ceviche that we couldn't find! They didn't have basic drinks options (no ginger ale?) and the service was distant although we were almost the only customers. The ceviche was good but it was more like a carpaccio or a sashimi. I definitely will not store this place in my favorites list.

Although this place has all the possibilities of being a tasty place to eat, it just wasn't. Where should I begin? (1) The place was empty, which should have given us the first clue. (2) We ordered two Ceviche dices, which took 45 minutes to come out. (3) The Ceviche dices were awful! Peppered with Tabasco sauce. Not sure why... More

Went there for a drink a quick late bite. The pisco sour was pretty good. The ceviche was good but super spicy. Service was friendly, but a little slow. Short version, it's not bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

I had an excellent shrimp anticucho (seasoned griled shrimp skewers with 2 sauces). It was served with yucca on some greens. Very good and $17. It's a cute corner Peruvian restaurant featuring ceviche (which I didn't try) with a bar.

For some time we had been looking forward to trying our new hood, local Peruvian, as they were closed for several weeks when we first moved here. Well sad to say it wasn't worth the wait. One waiter either did not want to be there or just hated his job or people in general. It got got the point of... More
