Where I take out-of-towners

Top 2 pizza places (to me) in Manhattan for real NYC-style pizza, but done in a more "gourmet" fashion. The other spot is Joe's of Bleecker, which is for a more on-the-go slice. Have been here probably tens, if not hundreds of times.

Everything folks have said about the pizza is true. It's excellent. But don't ignore the salads at this place they were absolutely wonderful. I had the apple and cheddar and it was the best salad I've had in quite some time. Great place for lunch or dinner.

Lunch on my own. Accidentally was given after glass of Merlot. Score! The pizza was good. Service was a bit slow but it was busy during lunch.

Delectable thin-crust pizza with a hearty taste and fresh toppings with the variety to please everyone! We ordered our 16" pie with traditional marina sauce and cheese, button mushrooms and broccoli. One word: YUM!

My family came to NYC from Jersey for City Streets and had our bikes with us. Therefore, we looked for a random place that serves pizza and has outdoor seating and we lucked out and found Vezzo's Thin Crust Pizza. The Bruschetta and Garlic Bread we started with was delicious. We all did enjoy the thin crust pizza too and... More

Good thin crust pizza, but not exceptional for the price. Many pizza places to choose from in NYC, and this is not one of the best, but if you are looking for a place to eat in the neighborhood, this is a solid choice.

Our family of 5 enjoyed Vezzo's pizza 3 times during our New York holiday in July. Our 3 children couldn't get enough and believe me, they have sampled their fair share of pizza! Friendly staff, a great atmosphere and delicious pizza. If your visiting the Empire State Building and you could use a bite - Vezzo's is your place!

The pizzas are great here! Didn't try anything else so couldn't comment on anything else. We went at 10pm and got a table straight away. Fully recommend this to anyone if they want pizza

if you are in the mood for Pasta, DO NOTTTT go here!! I originally ordered the shrimp linguini, and it literally tasted like fake lemon dish soap. Then I told them it was strange and ordered just straight up pasta with sauce.... Once again it tasted like soap, and disgusting lemons. all I'm saying is just don't get pasta. And... More

We went to this restaurant after a full day walking. It was already 9:30 pm and we were pleased that they still served us (only on the inside, since the outdoor tables were already being cleaned). We ordered 4 pasta dishes (2 salmon rigatoni, one linguini with portobello mushrooms and other rigatoni also with mushrooms), all of them were delicious.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
