If you are staying at Pod 39, this is just a few yards away across Lexington. Hearty breakfast with juicy sausages that were almost as good as British bangers!

Found this diner on internet prior to my visit to new york. It was 30 seconds walk from hotel ideal for breakfast and take out. Service fast and friendly. There is only one word for size of portions - huge (especially desserts). Couldnt fault anything.

There are lots of eating places around but we keep going back to Scotty's as they are quick, the food is good & prices reasonable. We did several takeouts for in room breakfast. In our hotel nearby!

We were staying around the corner at The Tuscany (great hotel by the way!) and visited Scotty's Diner for breakfast twice. YUM! The food was delicious. And our server, Naoum (i hope i got that spelling right) was so friendly. I had the spinach and feta omelette with side of bacon. It comes with toast (I had rye) and potatoes.... More

During a recent get away to New York I accidentally stumbled on to Scotty's Diner. We ended up eating there three times in four days. The breakfast was tasty and well priced and I had some of the best bacon I have had in a long time. The décor is nothing to write home about, but I think that's what... More

Had breakfast during a business trip to NYC at Scotty's. Food was good and fairly well priced. It's straight-ahead diner food, no more, no less.

Visited Scotties three times for breakfast and once in the afternoon on the last day of our New York Holiday. Scotties was our family's favourite eating place of the whole holiday. The food was of excellent quality at a very reasonable price. The menu is wide ranging and everything we had was cooked to perfection. There was a wide clientele... More

Long, narrow, and just what the doctor ordered for breakfast. Just plain good food with friendly service. My limited Spanish scored me a few points...LOL. Like other reviewers said, this is a very authentic New York City place.

Real gem of a diner. Ate here three times on our trip and service and food was spot on every time. A really authentic Nyc feel to a good quality diner. Highly recommended
