Had breakfast here a few times while staying just round the corner. Great choice on the menu and if there was anything you wanted off the menu the staff were only too happy to sort it out for you. Always a friendly welcome, great service, good food at reasonable prices. Would be happy to recommend and happy to go back.

Nothing about this place was a pleasure. Well, maybe the cold beer helped.Would not repeat. Even our uncomplaining grandchildren were not happy here.

I ate breakfast here on 2 consecutive mornings. Service is attentive and quick. Potatoes were a tad on the mushy side but well-seasoned nonetheless. Definitely a place worth trying that won't ruin the budget (like Pershing Square) in the morning if you are in this part of the area in NYC (Lexington and & 39th street).

Found this by using a near me search on trip advisor whilst staying in a 5th Avenue hotel. Could not have been happier. This truly was an authentic diner experience. Yes the decor may not be the prettiest but that's not what you want in a diner. Perfect service and good decent food. Would recommend and will visit on my... More

We ate in the back room - not very nice, food just ok. Could be that we were seated in the back. Checked it out because it was close to the hotel.

Unfortunately we only found this diner on the second last day of our holidays - Great selection and the staff are more than happy to add on or take off (hold) anything you wish - free tea/coffee top up's - great service

Me and my girls stayed nearby and needed to imbibe about 4000 calories before we called it a night - this place delivered. No one can remember what one of us ordered, it is still a mystery, but I know I ordered the french toast and it was DEEEEEEEElicious.

While in NYC for a week, my daughter (Kelsey) and I ate at Scotty's several times including breakfast, lunch, and late-night desserts. The service was great and the food was even better. I will definitely be going back!

We went here while staying close by at grand Hyatt on east 42nd street. Staff were friendly and attentive. Everything you could ask for from a New York diner. Extensive menu and prices really reasonable. We chose the pancakes with bacon and egg, sausage and home fries. Both delicious. Would recommend.

Had a fantastic breakfast with a smile. Meals were delivered quickly and very generous in size. I didn't eat again until dinner time.
