We had reservations for a Friday night at 8PM for a party of six. The restaurant was packed and it was very hard to find a place to stand while we waited for our table and it was way too cold to wait outside. Once seated, our service was prompt and the food was good. We were glad we were... More

Most amazing Mexican anywhere. The mole is not always on the menu but is always available by request. Beef short ribs are pricey but fall off the bone. Do the tableside guacamole you won't be disappointed!

We went to restaurant during Restaurant WeeK. We had the guacamole dish which was excellent! The lobster tacos were very good! What was disappointing was the magi magi entree which was dry and filet mignon ordered medium, was well done. The chicken was fine. The best was the tres leche dessert- best I've had. We felt somewhat rushed to order... More

We first visited Rosa Mexicano when in New York for New Year 2012 and have since visited their LA restaurant, so were looking forward to returning here. We weren't disappointed. From the amazing pomegranate margaritas, the freshly prepared guacamole to the shrimp ceviche and skirt steak, the food is simply delicious. Oh and mustn't forget the churros for dessert. Cannot... Loved this restaurant - the guacamole was the best I've had- they make it fresh right there. Friendly staff- great service. Extensive menu- many choices- even for those who must eat gluten free, They asked us if this was a special occasion - it was an anniversary and they brought champagne over to the coupe celebrating their anniversary.

Best guacamole I've eaten in the US. Prepared at tableside with fun and flair. Tried three different enchiladas and steak tacos. All were excellent and beautifully presented. Too full for dessert but will certainly return in the near future. Excellent service too.

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
