Horribly over priced - even for NYC - arrogant wait staff - mediocre food - tiny portions - admitedly beautiful room but needs a complete re-do of menu/concept and extenisive staff training concerning customer service. I was disappointed to hear that the main dining room at the London was closed so I was already settling for the Maze which was a less formal option. The place is ok, the service as others have mentioned is good but not "friendly", and it is a bit expensive considering the setting. The food on the other hand, specially... More

First, I must confess that we ate here for the NYC Restaurant week lunch special. I'm certain that we would have paid much more for what we got & usually would consider a restaurant like this out of reach. (OK, we're rubes from upstate, there) However, we have visited NYC quite a bit in the past few years, and we... More

I was expecting an amazing experience at Gordon Ramsey's restaurant, but it was pretty mediocre. Not to say all his restaurants are like this. Service was good in a sense the food arrived on time and was good, but the people who work in this restaurant need a bit of training on looking at least like they enjoy working there.... More

Went for lunch the food could not be better, however the service was just average. It took over one hour for the main course to come out. Our waiter was less than attentive initially although he did get better as the meal progressed. After waiting a really long time for the food, he approached us and told us that the... More

The service was realy lousy. Though we had a reservation, our table was not ready and we were asked to wait. We've been asked several times for the drinks after we ordered. The starter tartar was amazing. The main dish was regular with nothing good to add to fish and chips and the risotto was schewy and had a awful... More

Having watched many Gordon Ramsay episodes, I must admit I was consciously looking for flaws and happily found none! Our appetizers, entrees and desserts were fabulous. The restaurant is located in the London NYC Hotel and has charming understated elegance.

In conclusion. Food was bland and too expensive for its value. Tuna Tartare has no taste, scallops had a fishy smell, hard and too salty. The beef wellington not impressed . The price its to high. The Brussels sprouts hard and the service was below average.

A once creative and good restaurant, my recent meals at Maze have been a huge disappointment. I went today for "brunch". The kale Cesar salad was fine. But the duck and hash was pretty bad. The duck confit on top was too hard and over cooked. The hash was soggy and flavorless. No crispy top layer as you'd expect and... More

The food was really nice, great quality. The overall disappointment was the service! The waiter was poor and inattentive, we had an issue with our meal and no apology. We complained to the manager who again gave no apology, I would not return! For a Gordon Ramsey restaurant at that price, very disappointed! I hope Gordon reads the reviews and... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
