Almost a-Maze-ing.

- Upon entry (into an empty restaurant) we were quickly greeted with an invitation to the bar for a drink because our table 'wasn't ready'. A great and sneaky way to get extra money from customers. It was restraunt week in NY. I've visited many restraunts during that season and this place served the worst meal ever. they served dumpling and kebob for their starter and main. (seriously..) In the dessert I found out A HAIR. I called a waiter, after the guy saw this he treated me like I'm faking it. He never said sorry... More

Going to a Ramsey restaurant has been on my bucket list for a long time. So had to try it while in NYC. The food was good, not great and overpriced. I did like the atmosphere, but the service wasn't up to the standard I would've expected.

This is a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, so I'd expect some yelling if he's really as picky as depicted on television. The food is average at best (cold fries, average burger, average flavors, boring plating) and the service was bad - - we went without water refills all night. While the restaurant/bar/hotel is pretty and pleasant to dine in, the experience... More

We had high expectations of this restaurant but unfortunately it went down the drain. The menu is a bit limited and expensive but I have to say the food was very good. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Wine by the glass is way too expensive, we paid around 23 dollars per glass, one of the cheapest wines and the... More

Went here with my husband for dinner and it was a massive disappointment from start to finish. On arrival we were given a menu that was not the same as the one shown online, we'd been looking forward to trying the famous beef Wellington but were told by the waiter that this was taken off menu 'ages ago'. We ordered... More

Absolute worst dining experience of my life. The service was slow, food average, prices high and Maze thought it was okay to seat twin two year old boys that literally screamed and threw silverware. We got up and left mid meal. I am extremely disappointed. It is baffling that the restaurant did nothing to address the issue. When we asked... More

I was a bit apprehensive after reading about the service, but we actually had three very attentive and polite waiters. I was pleased to see a Tasting Menu on there, and $60 for four courses is not bad. Wine by the glass was pricey, at $18. Coffee and Tea were $6. Dinner started with a delicious creamy mushroom soup that... More

Bar guys are friendly, wait staff have no personality. Limited bar menu but while decent, it's just that. If it's raining and you have to be somewhere, it's good enough, but otherwise, I wouldn't stop and eat here. I remember when it was good here, good sliders and flatbreads....it was expensive but you felt at least the foods were good.how... More

4 mornings and 4 rude waiters. One rolled his eyes at me when I asked for another coffee, one said under his breath "really?" when I asked for honey, and one followed me to the cashier when I paid my bill to see if I would complain about him and when I did, he said so what.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
