Gordon......needs your expertise!

My colleague ordered a mini steak with herb frites. Also ordered a burger and fish and chips. The steak was small. The burger and fish and chips were a good size. The steak was tasty. However, the fries were not crispy and lacked taste. They do not take reservations. The noise level was... read more

The worst dining experience of my life. I made a reservation for lunch time and when I arrived I was greated by the hostess who said they didn't have a menu for lunch except for the bar menu. This is different than what was said on Ramsey's site. Then we waited for 10 minutes amidst about 3 other occupied tables... More

We stayed here last summer when they had just closed the formal dining room. Fortunately, they were still serving the Beef Wellington, and it tasted as great as it looks on TV (it's a regular item on the menu in the Hell's Kitchen series). Unfortunately, they stopped serving full meals and have cut their menu really short. I'll see you... More

Loved the dining experience at Maze Grill. Situated in the London Hotel near Central Park. Great food, great drinks menu. We had Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner and nothing disappointed!

My husband and I decided to have dinner at Maze for our last night in NYC. I had made reservation weeks before and was excited about dinning there. We were coldly greeted by a young lady who quickly asked for our last name and asked us to step aside. We had a early dinner reservation at 5pm. The restaurant had... More

The food was delicious and the bathrooms are remarkable. However, the service wasn't great; it was quite expensive; and there were a few details that took away from the experience (crack in the table, worn menu, menu with a duplicate page instead of the page it was supposed to have). Overall, I'd recommend it if you can spend $30 on... More

Stopped in for after dinner drink... Ordered 3 glasses of wine and a tequila. Bill was $135.00. Charged us $40.00 for a glass of wine! We were told that we ordered the "premium" wine. A scam at its best! Never ever will we return!

Maze is good, but very expensive. Stopped for a coffee in the afternoon which had a bill of US$20. Choices offered are good and varied and service is excellent. Ambience in the restaurant also pleasant.

We were disappointed that the full Ramsay restaurant was no longer there, but ate in the new 'maze' bar and tried 4 tasting plates - proscuitto wrapped fig, pork 'wings' were amazing. The Octopus had good flavours but could have been grilled more.

We ate the breakfast buffet on two occasions during our stay. The eggs at the buffet were like soup, the bacon dripping with grease, and the croissants were dry. This should be next on your list for Kitchen Nightmares! Outrageous price for sub-standard food.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
