My friend and I visited NYC for 1 day and found Scarlatto's by accident. The food was outstanding as was the wait staff. We took advantage of the $29.95 three course special and all 3 courses were exceptional. Highly recommended!

This place is just absolutely wonderful. First restaurant that we went to in NYC, and I would go back in a heartbeat. Staff was super friendly, the wine pairing that they suggested was good, and the food was well worth the 20$ per entree. Totally recommend.

Dined here last week with four colleagues and everything was spot on. Food was terrific and so was service. Great plates of chicken parm and veal. Osso bucco looked terrific and given a big thumbs up by one of our diners. Gnocchi perfectly cooked and presented. Enjoyed the crooner background music too. Only a thousand Italian restaurants in NYC but... More

We booked through Open Table. This is the "sister restaurant" from Putanesca, which closed, but referred us here. Our reservation was for 10:30PM. We arrived at 10:40 after a show. The manager screemed "We are closed." I noted that we had a reservation for 10:30OM. He simply yelled "We are closed. Get out." The restuarant offered an 11PM time slot.... More

We've been going to Scarlotto's annually for the last 3 years because my wife loves their pumpkin ravioli. She relives that experience each time, and will only try other dishes when I order them. I tried the 3-course fixed price and was impressed with all three courses. The mussels appetizer and taglioni with wild mushroom sauce were fresh, hot and... More

We stopped in on a Monday night and the dining room was empty. So we figured since there wasn't anyone else there our experience would be great. Well, not so much. We felt like we were a burden to the waiter, who obviously had someplace better to be. Drinks were good. These guys know how to make a classic cocktail.... More

We ended up at Scarlatto for all other chains being overbooked with hour wait on Broadway and 7th. I told my hungry daughter lets walk down one of those tiny street see if we can find something! There are a lot of tiny places waiting to be discovered, no wait at Scarlatto and food kids like, pastas, pricier but at... More
