Just epic!

Great Atmosphere and vibe! Have a reservation before you go as it is always busy. I went without a reservation and had to drink at the bar before I got a table. Even though we had to wait, was one of the best brunch's I had in NYC.

We were visiting NYC looking for a great Nyc resturant before we left. We found il Bastardo. The greeter immediately sat our party of twelve. The decor and atmosphere was wonderful. The food was amazing for the price. Everyone enjoyed the fresh food, it looked good, smelled good and tasted great. The only drawback was the service from our waitress.... More

I visited this place for brunch on a Saturday afternoon with a group of people. Our reservation was at 12:30, and we were sitted pretty promptly, after the mandatory coat check. After 45 minutes, the waiter finally took our order. I had the steak and eggs. The food did not arrive until 2:00pm. This would not be so awful if... More

Stopped here for a late drink and snacks. Decent wine list and small plates, reasonably priced. We enjoyed the ambience and our server was charming.

Menu has changed and website was not updated however it was fairly good. Drinks were $12, well prepared and interesting. We tried the Fennel Salad and the Pizza due to the change to the new menu. At $8 each no complaints and portion size was average to small. Both would be considered starters and certainly not much more. Old menu... More

Came from Sunday brunch - like a nightclub! The mimosas are delicious and keep coming! Food is ok, I got the steak and eggs first time and the burger the second. Burger was much better. Great for girls Sunday and great price $39 pp. I will be back!!!

Il Bastardo is decent. The menu is appealing though the food is a bit run of the mill. I have been a couple of times. Last night I had some rose wine and a pizza margherita. Both were decent. I think the pizza was $13 and was a nice size for 2. The service was very friendly. It's a cavernous... More

For $40 all you can drink mimosa, screw drivers, and bloody mary its a great deal. The food choices are great too. We had the pancakes and also the steak and eggs and so happy of what we picked. The staff was also very good at making sure out glass was always filled. And the music playing in the background... More

It can be a bit noisy if you're with a large group, but the food, service and decor were all excellent. Music was a mix of 70s 80s and 90s.. If I can change one thing, I'd upgrade the soap dispenser in the washroom.
