Nice Pre-Theater Vibe, Good Food, Creative Gluten-Free

We headed here because of the tantalizing thought (for my Celiac wife) of having three types of homemade gluten-free pasta. It was delicious. Post theatre dinner was ok. Pork loin for me, ravioli for my wife. Service a bit slow for the few tables. Would not go back with so many better choices in area

Fabulous food and service. Best meal we had in New York by miles. The food was interesting, beautifully presented and very tasty.

We typically visit this restaurant before almost any show. Both food and service, over a few years' worth of visits, have been consistently good. The service, in particular, is excellent -- attentive, efficient and friendly. As for the food, we've never had a bad meal there, and most dishes have been well prepared and of high quality. Their prix-fixe menu... More

We had a wonderful prefix meal before going to the theatre. We both had the sea bass and loved it. We were there early so not very busy which was nice. Our server was very attentive. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best service ever. The manager offered to reseat us when the men at the next table were a bit boisterous. The waiter was personable, accommodating and humorous. The food was very good and nicely presented. The lamb shank was fabulous. I will eat here again the next time in NYC.

The theater district is full of restaurants, many of which cater to tourists they don't expect to see again. It's hard to choose and I usually don't have high expectations. Which is why I asked a local friend what he would recommend and I am so glad I did. Etcetera Etcetera is several cuts above the average midtown restaurant in... More

The menu looks like it, but the only worthy part of this establishment is its wine list (reds particularly); unfortunately not even the wine service was up to par. We were a group of six, and our dishes ranges for average to much lower; the “gluten free gnocchis” were particularly bad: they were just cooked in water and mixed up... More

One of our go to spots when we are heading to a show in the theatre district. The food is excellent quality, the wine list and drinks are reasonably priced for NYC and the staff is competent. Also works for larger groups of 6-8 with varied diets as they have wonderful vegetarian options.

I have been a customer at this place since they first opened 10 years ago. (Just attended an Private Anniversary Party to celebrate). The quality of the food over the years has never been less than excellent. I have NEVER had a bad meal or dish here in 10 years. It's very near most of the Broadway theaters and the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
