Located over several floors of a West Village town house Bobo is a characterful yet intimate dining experience. We chose to share several plates and sample the excellent Californian wine and digestif list. In my view a great restaurant treats the vegetable accompaniment as well as the main headliner meat dishes and the sprouting broccoli just knocked us out. The... More

We went here recently for a group dinner for a friend's post wedding celebration. The restaurant offered a prix fixe menu which was very nice. The salad and steak I had were both lovely. The steak was enormous! It feels like you are eating in someone's home the way this place is laid out, which was a really neat feel.

My wife and had our wedding dinner in Bobo's extremely inviting and cosy private dining room. A perfect setting if you are less than 20 people, we were 13. The room and the surroundings are great, there is a little terrace that is yours to use and a private restroom. The food was some of the best that I have... More

We dined here to celebrate my husband's birthday and Bobo lived up fully to all of the great reviews. Excellent food, attentive - but not overbearing - service from beginning to end. We enjoyed burrrata and tomato salad for starters along with a mussels special that was to die for - you could drink the sauce! For mains, I had... More

A good fun restaurant to have dinner in New York. The service was attentive, the food excellent , a buzzy atmosphere. If you can get a table on the roof garden it is the place to be on a warm evening in New York. Highly recommended.

You have to go down stairs from the sidewalk to get in. Then you are in the bar area. Then, you have to walk up a long flight of stairs to get into the dining area. Then, if you are willing to walk a few more steps up, you get to a lovely covered outdoor patio that is very cool... More

Four of us went for Dinner here last night. When we arrived (about 6:30), it was about 1/3 full. BY the time we left, it was packed. The menu is short. About seven or so appetizers and five or six entrees plus a special for the day. They had some imaginative cocktails. The Steak Tartar was absolutely fabulous, and amazing.... More

Probably not their best day, managed to spill a tray of drinks over our table, got the bill totally wrong but we would still go again. The food was great and the atmosphere nice and relaxed. The upstairs garden is a great place to chill out after walking the hot streets of New York.

What's better than a choice of 6 special drinks from the happy hour menu on a hot early evening at Bobo's in the Village? We were thirsty and a teensy bit hungry and all the street level bars were jam-packed and super noisy. A sign directed us to Bobo's upstairs garden room. What a lovely, breezy sanctuary. It's as if... More
