Perfect Sunday brunch spot

We arrived when they opened at 11, so I don't know how crazy it is later in the day. The place is deceiving from the outside, but quite bright and cherry inside. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, I opted for the lobster omelette which was perfect. They have an interesting bar menu, but we... read more

in June we held a baby shower at Bobo for my daughter. At the last minute we changed the reservation to Bobo's and the reservation team and staff made our event special! The drinks were creative and colorful. The variety of the menu selections accommodated all guests and provided special selections for the guest of honor. The outside deck was... More

The butter that came with the bread did not taste like butter, it seemed neither salted nor sweet, and seemed to me to have virtually no taste. The soup of the day was potato leak soup ($13), a soup that I usually like elsewhere, but here it did not resemble in any way the previous ones had elsewhere. Its texture... More

Bobo was a perfect choice for a birthday dinner for my BF. He requested French. This restaurant has a lovely vintage romantic vibe since it is housed in an Edwardian (I think) townhouse. You enter on the basement/bar level and we were greeted by two very friendly hosts. The bar looked cool, but we skipped it since they were able... More

Our party had a beautiful, delicious, relaxed dinner. The signature dishes (hamburger, tongue, cheek, and bourbon flights; duck) were excellent, but so were the others (scallop risotto) we sampled. Waitstaff were enthusiastic but not pushy, and very accommodating (we were 8 adults and one young child).

Talented bar tenders with amazing cocktails! Not much to comment on food, since I just ordered Salad. It is definitely worth a try.

Reserved a table upstairs in the "restaurant" rather than the bar type area downstairs. Good ambiance and good service throughout the evening. The Boullabaise, Lamb and Steak that we ordered as main courses were excellent (as well as the spicy Margarita we had as an aperitif). Definitely at the pricey end, but certainly a restaurant we'll return to in future... More

ask to be away from stairwell. good vibe. Attentive service. So so bread. Excellent octopus and beans. Too salty but tasty mushrooms and ravioli. Bobo salads heaping and fresh. Good clams and mussels. Go to hidden small bar upstairs for a martini and oysters.

I selected BoBo based on Yelp reviews, and once again, thank you. As you go down the stairs, it feels like you have stepped into a quaint place, outside the city limits. Our hostess sat us in the enclosed garden which I loved. Once seated, we had a funny and gracious waiter who served us well through out the evening.... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
