Good food

Ordered a few things for delivery. The coconut calamari was a little strange but not bad. The shrimp was excellent. I just wish they had sent plastic knifes for the pork chops

After viewing the Halloween Pet Parade in Tompkins Square park, I and my daughters ducked in here for the Lunch Special and we were happy with the results. For 8.95 you get a lot of food. I had a delicious spicy tofu noodle dish ( Kao Mee?) , crab Rangoon and salad with peanut dressing. All four of us enjoyed... More

Me and my wife (both Thai) went to eat here with our friends and the food was great. The prices were also reasonable. Everything was great except one thing: the host was being totally mean to one of my family member because she got stuck in traffic and came 30 minutes late for the reservation (she called in advance). Apart... More

We ate here on a Friday night before a concert nearby. Very nice-looking place, and the food and drinks were very good. The service was maybe a bit slow, but I think it was on par for New York City. We had the Firecrackers appetizer, which was good. My husband had the Panang with fish, and he said it was... More

We decided to go in the restaurant to try their "happy hour" mojitos... Then when we saw our neighbors plates, we decided to stay to diner... It was perfect. The food was really good ! Pad Thaï Beef and red Curry were really tasty and good ! Shame that it's so noisy... Mojitos are not real mojitos but there are... More

My friends and I come here all the time for drinks & dinner. They recently extended their awesome happy hour until 10pm so we fill up on their $3 mojitos and beers like no tomorrow. I've never had a complaint about any dish here. The appetizers are all good and I usually get the drunken man noodles; so delicious!

What a wonderful gem hidden in the Village. My daughter and I were heading elsewhere but saw the lunch special $9.95 advertised and decided to give this place a try. Glad we did. Soup or salad, choice of appetizer and entree. We enjoyed sesame crusted tofu and taro spring roll appetizers, and the kar ha Kew (noodles with vegetables) and... More

Stumbled across this place amidst all the other Chinese and Japanese eateries in the area and totally lucked out. Food is really tasty and authentic and really cheap too. $60 for 2 starters & mains and a couple Chang beers too. I always look for a Thai restaurant whenever I go away and this one is definitely one of the... More

We dropped by this place purely to escape the cold and really lucked out. The place appeared packed from the outside and rightfully so. Great Thai, gorgeous Massaman curry. Good selection of drinks for $3 happy hour and friendly staff too.

We wanted a quick thai lunch and they had $8.95 plus tax lunch special. We ordered pad seu and basil curry which came with soup and appetizers for each. Great deal and food was great! It took us only 20 min and we made it on time.

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
