Great price. Great selection.

Had a great experience here with a high school choir group (15) after touring the MMOA. Staff was very friendly, pizza (BBQ chicken was awesome) and cheesecake was very good, service was wonderful. Great typical NYC experience!

authentic NYC Pizza, stopped in a quick slice before heading to the MMOA, I had a traditional Sicilian and my husband had the buffalo chicken. Excellent service even though the place was busy at 12:30.

Best Italian I ever had in my life. And for a very good price too. Friendly and good service! I took Phil's Favorite. Highly recommended.

This tiny place in the upper east side is a must if you need to eat something good and cheap. Suggestion: just try plain pizza, it's amazing

We tried Pica and Pasta. Both were very tasty. Many Italian customers were around which indicated authentic cuisine. Good value for price.

Tired and with sore feet we wanted NY pizza! Saw this place and went in. There were a number of different pizza by the slices you could choose from. Tell them what you want and they pop them in the oven to heat up. My friend and I each got two slices plus a drink and paid $10.60 each. The... More

My husband and I rented an apartment in New York for ten days which was a short walking distance to Lexington Avenue. We tried a few different restaurants for our one lunch/dinner meal each day, and then we discovered Don Filippo's. As soon as we walked in the door we felt welcome. We chose to sit in a booth which... More

Happened upon this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. The place is small, but the sandwiches were large and tasty, the staff friendly. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a slice of pizza. I had the Sicilian and dad had the thin crust. We both loved it. They had great selection and were quick with the service. The restaurant is small and casual, a great place for a quick bite or lunch but I wouldn't make it a nice meal out.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
