Irish Eatery and Pub in Midtown

We go to the Perfect Pint because they sell the Perfect Pint! Rooftop bar is fabulous and is almost always packed. There are two of these pubs in Midtown; we've been to both but do enjoy the one on 45th between 6th and 7th avenue.

Repeat visit to the pub next door to our Wyndham vacation resort on 45th St, NYC midtown. Started with steamed chicken pot stickers and some loaded nachos. All 4 of us had the Irish beef stew - perhaps a little too many potatoes but very tasty (braised beef, carrots, celery and a savory broth). Of course a great selection of... More

This is one of the dozens of Irish pubs in NYC, so my expectations in the food department were low. Wrong! It was quite good! I had a southwestern chicken wrap (whole wheat) that was delicious. One of my colleagues had crab cakes and he said they were very good and he's from the Jersey Shore. My other colleague had... More

Absolutely perfect for the beer drinker who wants to try something new and different, over 40 perfect pints of imported beer. The menu compliments the vast beer selections, and offers choices for everyone at reasonable prices.

Drinks are not too expensive in this pub and the service was great. Food-wise they serve typical pub food but with a really good quality of main courses. (Very fresh salad for exemple)

Good traditional Irish meals and drink. Good specials and open late including the roof top bar. I gone here at least 4-5 times in my visits to NYC. Good service and large meal sizes. You will not leave thirsty or hungry. Only draw backs to the roof top bar are 1) a steep set of stairs (4 stories) to get... More

Came here for a late lunch dinner on a Saturday. We received a very friendly greeting, both downstairs, and up on the rooftop. Sat at the bar, and, since we are not beer drinkers the bartender was very helpful. We ordered the bangers and mash, which was very good, and the corned beef reuben. While the reuben was very good,... More

After a long day about town a large group of us decided to grab some dinner and drinks. We entered the pub and were immediately seated which was great considering the number of people in our group. That's where it started to go down hill as far as service was concerned. It took a while for our table to even... More

Stopped in for happy hour with a coworker. The bar is very nice and has an expansive beer list. The rooftop bar was also a plus. The food, on the other hand, was average at best. For the price, it was borderline sub par. My medium rare burger came medium well and it tasted like they took the meat straight... More

Had very high expectations of this place from the reviews on trip adviser, I even booked a table expecting it to be busy on a Saturday evening, my mistake there were plenty of tables available when we arrived at 7.45, we were taken to the first floor where two other tables from 20 were taken. The place just did not... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
