Pretty much everything about Westville is great. The challah bread french toast for brunch is my favorite. They do great market fresh veggie plates that make vegetarians and non-vegetarians like drool over them. Yum! I posted an article on my blog on Eating in the East Village. Long waiting-time to get a table, altough it was worth every minute for the healthy, good composed menu with a lot of fresh food, nice people and great atmosphere.

The veggie sides make a great appetizer. Especially liked the beets with goat cheese. Salmon sandwich with fresh greens was delicious. Small, unpretentious, casual and yummy.

I wanted to like the place, but it was very, very cramped and the place was packed and just not enough servers to handle it. Though the service was friendly. The menu had some very interesting items, so I thought the place was very promising. But I had two dishes (I shared) and both were very bland and not just... More

This restaurant has good diner type vegetarian food. if you are looking for super healthy vegetarian food this is not for you. this is more like faux philly cheese steak, chili or tuna melt. the space is fairly small and the service can be uneven, but always friendly.

The menu here is very large and their speciality seems to be vegetable sides. We had braised brussell sprouts, sweet potatoes, and fries, all of which were good and huge. I also had a homemade veggie burger which was very good.

The main thing I liked about this place was the interesting menu - you can go for classics like hotdogs, burgers and sandwiches or you can go for one of the specials or one of the many "market" dishes, which can be ordered as a side or as a small portion, all of these are based on fresh vegtables

This place is very different for NYC. It has a menu that is centered around veggies. I had a burger with a Portuguese bun which was great. Their sweet potato fries were very good. My wife had a vegetable plate tha she enjoyed. We would go back.

We only had a few hours in NYC because of a long layover so we decided to go into the city for lunch. We were very happy our NYC friend took us here! We are from the midwest so the selection of vegetarian/vegan friendly places to eat is very limited. It is so wonderful to look at the whole menu... More
