If you want to getaway from the city for a meal, fatty crab is the perfect place. Incredible dishes and the ambiance takes you straight to the Caribbean. The ginger with cucumber drink is yummy and refreshing and the mini burgers are incredible.

We were encouraged by the reviews of this restaurant and went with the family for a meal. Sadly found the food as well as service very sub- standard. The crab which is supposed to be the signature dish of the restaurant was really lousy! The green veg curry had no curry in it :( and the prices overall were an... More

Known for incredibly good Asian food. Definitely worth the trip. Fairly large portions, and its nice to try several different dishes, so be sure to come hungry.

A reasonably "great" restaurant in the Village / Meat Market area of lower Manhattan. The premises is somewhat small, but in good weather, they have sidewalk seating which is wonderful in the evening. Fatty Crab specializes in small plates, which are typically somewhat pricey, but very tasty. Their offerings sometimes sell out if one comes in late for dinner, but... More

My wife and I were in NYC for a few days and decided to check out Fatty Crab since it was close to our hotel. We visited Fatty Crab on Super Bowl Sunday and because of the game it was pretty much dead. This was an excellent day to go because the service was great and so was the food.... More

I bought a GiltCity Voucher for $80 dollars, dinner for 2. Claims the value of the voucher is actually $142 worth of food (40% off). I get to select 2 snacks, 2 noodles/soup/rice, 1 specialty (no crab/no lobster), 1 side, and 1 bottle of house selected red or white wine. Dishes we selected were Shrimp & Belly, Duck Wings (not... Tasty food. Small portions (two of us ordered two appetizers and three entrees to get full.) Pork buns were delicious as was the Char Kwey Teow (very spicy!) and the Wonton Mee. Food came out as it was ready so you eat "family style." Service was almost too quick. Didn't appreciate the hard core rap music they were playing (as... More

The hubby and I had bad luck on our short trip to NYC this past January. There was a raging snowstorm for most of our time there. All news outlets were telling people to stay inside-- but we weren't going to let a little snow stop us! We wandered around Greenwich looking for something that was open at around 9PM... More

As a local would say, "Sedapnya!" Great flavours, authentically done! A nice addition to a cool day, sitting outside with the spicy crab dish is something I'd recommend.

I can't fault the food which was perfectly tasty but unfortunately we experienced ridiculously long gaps between entrees coming out if the kitchen - up to 45 mins - which the servers told us was 'family style', but it made for an extremely disappointing evening out. Given the amazing choice of Asian restaurants in New York I'd give this place... More
