Interesting Asian Fusion

Went here for a low key week night dinner. Nice selection of wines and sparkling wines by the glass. Yummy food, buzzy atmosphere. We has the crispy pork with pickled watermelon - which was terrific, as was the Char Kway Tow. Highly recommended.

Having been born and raised in Australia and having spent an enormous amount of my youth in Asia, i was really wanted to have an authentic experience of some good Thai cuisine during a trip to NYC. I am not one for hot burning spices so I know that if it was authentic then I'd be fine. I gathered some... More

Fabulous meal. Great Chupacabra as a drink. Then pickled watermelon + pork belly was quite good. Then steamed pork buns was excellent. Rib rendang was coup de grace. Chili Crab sauce was great with rice, but crab itself was too much work. For dessert, we had coconut mochi cookie, which was also incredible. Five stars out of five, but come... More

This place was recommended and overall did not disappoint. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food was extremely tasty. We had a variety of dishes. The only disappointment was the signature dish Chilli Crab, the only good thing about it was the sauce which was amazing. The crab however was hard work and messy for very little reward, it was... We went there for lunch in August. When we got there, we were told they were out of crab -delivery didn't arrive. Fatty crab out of crab?! I had called to make sure they were open and would have appreciated a heads up they were out of crab. Disappointed, we were about to leave when word came from the kitchen... More

We had just arrived in the Village for our fourth visit, were tired and a bit dull after the LA to NYC flight and were happy to see this appealing little place near our accommodation. It was great to have some "un-American" offerings including healthy tasty green vegetables. Our meal was overall very nice but not outstanding. Our server couldn't... More

So I heard quite some fuss about this place and decided to try it. Had a variety of dishes...was underwhelmed. Not bad food, but simply a forgettable experience. The plates looked great but the taste lacked something. The waiter was very nice and service fast. Prices were steep. Overall average experience

I had a great dish with them - pork belly with watermelon and lemon grass. Nice combination of sweet and salt! They have a good terrace and the price was ok ($40 for the pork belly and some chicken wings in ketjap sauce + a Mexican beer).

The chupacabra and watermelon pork belly salad are excellent. I have been a frequent patron over the past few years and they never disappoint. Pork sliders are also a favorite.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
