We went to the 9th avenue location after seeing Jersey Boys and we had to wait for 15 minutes to get a table. The seating area is small but its like that a most NYC places which I like. The empanada's are good, my wife and I ordered two each since they are small but had plenty of meat. I... More

we had never eaten the empanada, then we saw this restaurant and we entered. the place is very friendly. we have taken many different types of corn, with the fish, with the meat, etc. with the chicken. one better than the one before. I regret that there is this place in our city.

This was one of my favorite eating spots during my trip. The food came out fairly quickly and was delicious. I wanted to go back but I didn't have the time. That sucked! I really wanted to try more things on the menu. The only negative thing I could possibly say about this restaurant was that it is very very... More

Went on the recommendation of an NYC local. Couldn't be happier! Authentic Latin street food with some Americanized versions of their empanadas. Great value. Ample portions. We had a few empanadas, the cassava and the chicharonnes. All were fantastic. So good in fact we had to get a variety to take back upstate.

We came here in the morning on the back of reviews on here. The place is nicely done out but a little small so may have to book or get there early as was filling up when we left. We had breakfast and a shake. Everyone agreed their order was excellent. I would really recommend this place. Columbian breakfast or... More

well worth the 15 minute wait at 9:30pm for these. This little shop was easy to find and in a good location. very limited seating but I didnt mind considering how amazing the product was. I thought the prices were very reasonable as well.

We stopped in here for a quick bit before seeing Avenue Q. Have to say YUMMY and I can see why their was a wait after we got seated. I had the corn flour with shreded chicken and the wheat cuban (EXCELLENT). The corn flour is very CRUNCHY not your traditional flaky like the wheat. I'd get other Wheat ones... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
