Great Thai on the Upper West Side

Very small place, but contributes to its charm. Had the Jungle Curry, which was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. Would definitely recommend for a mid-range budget on the Upper West Side.

This place isn a slim restaurant next to a bar and is buzzing with people on a Friday evening in April. The waiters are very nice and the place has a nice look to it. The food, however, is very ordinary. I had a chicken stir fry and the chicken was chewy and the whole thing didn't taste like much.... More

When Land first opened, it was a delight. But, things change. Eating there today, we were totally disappointed...tough, overcooked, leathery prawns, and tough, dry, flavorless beef. The B rating for the kitchen is a bit worrisome, too. Land's grand days seem to be over and done. Sadly. We will not go back.

Recent return to this restaurant for dinner. The quality of the food and service remains excellent. They were very accommodating for pre-concert meal.

Quick trip to NYC, having a drink with a local friend, and deciding what to have for dinner. As we went through some choices, he said he knew a good Thai place. Done. It was a Thursday night, and we were able to get the last available table with no wait. I'm told Fridays and Saturdays are tougher but worth... More

This was the second time we ate here and it was great both times, the place is small and folks are packed in but it is worth it. The service was quick and friendly.Best choices were the wok charred squid... it was fantastic, the jungle curry tofu and the spicy beef salad. The pomegranate mojito was pretty darn good as... I ordered delivery from Land so I can't comment on the service or the ambiance but I can say that the food is GREAT. They had me at Duck Larb, which was beautifully spiced and creative, and prepared solid beef salad (with apples, a nice touch) and a very well done Pad See Ew. I will definitely order from them... We got a table immediately even though it was really busy. Food was fantastic. Excellent service. Lovely restaurant. Very reasonably priced for NYC.

A great place to grab a quick meal of delicious thai food. The menu is not overpriced. The restaurant is very small and best for 4 or less people (preferable 2).

I love this place so much, the food is amazing!!!! It is a little small when it is crowded but you can order for delivery. I think that the Massamon curry tastes great! It is spicy and sweet at the same time and I think they balance each other out well. They have other great dishes like the Drunken Noodles,... More
