Know that this is a restaurant that caters to tourists, as it is located in midst of Rockefeller Center. There are many large tables; the noise level is distracting for reasonable conversation. Service staff was universally helpful and friendly. Disappointing wine list - modest in choices, and even more overpriced than you'd expect in NYC midtown. Food came out quickly... More

Went to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas Tree yesterday, made reservations via Open Table. Looking for a special place to take my son for his birthday with family and a friend. Location is great (we could see the tree from our table) and the atmosphere is nice (place is a bit cold temperature-wise). Maitre-D was very hospitable and the... More

I've only dined here as a guest of a private cocktail party for the holiday season. It was an open bar with lovely passed hors d'oeuvres and a beautiful platter of cheeses with quince, fig, and candied walnuts. Just that alone made me want to dine there for a sit down dinner. The view of the brightly lit holiday lights... More

This was a fine meal. We were able to have a delicious sushi appetizer and a French meal, which was great. Good service. The view at Christmas (our table overlooked the tree at Rockefeller Center) made it so festive and unique.

We had a nice view of the Rockefeller tree during our evening meal. We both enjoyed our meals and beverages. The restaurant was very crowded on a Saturday night during the holidays, but it was not too loud. Parties of two do sit close together, which is always slightly awkward for private conversation. The best part is the view and... More

Restaurant is across the street from the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Food is French-American and very tasty. Wait staff are professional and attentive. Very good place to dine for the holidays.

Went into Manhattan to see the Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall and had made reservations at Brasserie Ruhlmann for Sunday brunch. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very attentive. Our appetizers was crab cake that were moist and packed with crab(pan fried) with an avacado sauce. We also had a bowl of lobster bisque which had a... More

We were lucky to come across Brasserie Ruhlmann during our stay in New York in October. We sat outside for lunch on our first day, in the sunshine, watching the world go by, was very enjoyable, great location, food was good and service was quick. Went back again on our last day, sat inside and had sushi, which was excellent,... More
