Perfect for a delicious business lunch in a convenient location!

I tried this place after seeing how packed it was. I needed a quick lunch and thats what i got. The food was good, service was quick and helpful, and it was nice sitting outside on a sunny day. Recommended.

Came here over the Christmas Holiday Season. Menu is rather limited and of a French bistro sort. Wait staff not very attentive for a restaurant of this caliber and price. Steak was average, as was my wife's seafood. It is a great location, but not a superlative restaurant.

Excellent food, in warm surroundings served by professional yet friendly staff. This place is to be recommended. It seems to be particularly busy at lunch times rather than evenings and can be full - so come early or late if you want to be sure to get a lunchtime table. This food is truly excellent and I would highly recommend... More

Jan, It makes us happy to see guests that are as excited about their meal as we are, thank you so much for the kind words. We understand the wait can be long at times, but being located in the heart of midtown at Rockefeller Center, you can understand why we are very busy at lunch. Best Regards, Arnaud Clairay... More

a very good restaurant with excellent service and a widely varied French menu. It is extremely convenient due to its location and is very accessible for lunch/pre-theater visits. The drinks are well done and the services quite capable while not pretentious. Food is well above average and there's a wide variety of choices including daily luncheon "specials".

We visited in the middle of the holiday season when Rockefeller Center was chaotic and the weather was pouring rain... We chose Brassiere Ruhlmann based on a recommendation from a colleague, and it's proximity to Radio City where we were seeing a show. Given the tourist trap location my expectations were low, but the menu and food were very good... More

Thank you for your kind words about our adult menu, we apologize that our “children’s menu” was not up to those standards though. While we are sorry that we can’t provide an actual children’s menu, we do try to accommodate our guests as much as possible. If you are ever in town, we encourage you to dine with us again... More

located across street from skating plaza at rockefeller plaza. a quiet and comfortable restaurant. food well presented. not inexpensive, as one would expect from the location, but if visiting the attractions in the area, especially MOMA late Friday, this is a restaurant worthy of a special visit.

A great location for an upscale restaurant. We dined well, the food was good but you can not have waiters at their early stages of career and ask tips for them of 18-20%. An upscale restaurant deserves upscale waiters and service otherwise is only a tourist trap. Ruhlman is running this danger.

What a great lunch venue. I had my only burger here during my trip it was delish🍔 Staff: attentive without being overpowering. Price in line with major cities and quality above average in my experience. Thanksgiving was the perfect time to visit as the tree was up although not lit.

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
