During our NYC visits, we've had perfect experiences at Brasserie Ruhlmann. During our first visit outside under umbrella's during a light rain, the staff was gracious and welcoming and we had a fabulous experience. This led to our latest visit, a business lunch last week I reserved for us to dine with my husband's colleagues. In fact, he has followed... More

Well Ruhlmann's really rules when the sun is shining. Super table outside in the sun trap they have by the Rock. Service and burger were perfect as always. Super place to people watch. Not so amazing inside but can't be beaten for lunch I. The sun!!

This is my 6th time visiting New York abd Inhad never been inside this place thinking it was a tourist trap right in the middle of Rockefeller plaza. However, the night was chilly and I went inside for an onuon soup I had seen some people having on the terrace. I was quite surprised, it was a very good place,... More

For such a touristy spot in an extreme tourist area, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I just wanted something light and the crab cake appetizer filled the bill. It was much better quality and tastier than I expected. Service was spotty at first but finished well.

We had been sight seeing all day and a leisurely drink was just what we wanted before finding somewhere to eat. We saw the bar and went in, it was happy hour so even better! The staff were very pleasant, the cocktails delicious and a great location. Excellent!.

It was a warm spring afternoon and my wife and I were looking for a light lunch outdoors. We walk the heart of Rock Ctr and were taken in my the location first. The table was situated perfectly for people watching and all of us had Spring fever. I have the smoked salmon with crusty bread and accompaniments. My wife... More

Despite this restaurant being in the center of all the tourism in NYC, the food was not at all tourist food! Had appetizers of tuna tartare & mushroom risotto and a side vegetable of tomato Provençal with a glass of Rose. All surpassed my expectations and both the risotto and tartare I would come again for.

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, the tourists are here BECAUSE of the food, not the other way round! We’re so glad that you enjoyed your experience and now that the weather is nicer we hope you have another trip planned for New York soon! Best Regards, Arnaud Clairay General Manager More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
