located across street from skating plaza at rockefeller plaza. a quiet and comfortable restaurant. food well presented. not inexpensive, as one would expect from the location, but if visiting the attractions in the area, especially MOMA late Friday, this is a restaurant worthy of a special visit.

A great location for an upscale restaurant. We dined well, the food was good but you can not have waiters at their early stages of career and ask tips for them of 18-20%. An upscale restaurant deserves upscale waiters and service otherwise is only a tourist trap. Ruhlman is running this danger.

As a a present for my daughter, currently being at NYC as a temp student, we booked a table for her and a friend. Reservation was easy, support from the manager outstanding, my daughter loved the menu as well as food and drinks

What a great lunch venue. I had my only burger here during my trip it was delish🍔 Staff: attentive without being overpowering. Price in line with major cities and quality above average in my experience. Thanksgiving was the perfect time to visit as the tree was up although not lit.

I recently had dinner with some friends at Brasserie Ruhlmann. The entrance to the restaurant is located at 50th Street across the street from the Christmas Tree. One of my friends had made dinner reservations for our party of five for 6:30PM. Inside the restaurant, the warm decor was well maintained wood paneled walls, red velour cushion chairs, and carpeted... More

The location is great cross from the Christmas tree @ the Rockefeller center. The ambiance is chichi and annoying. The waiters seem bored and the hostess was unpleasant to say the least. The only good thing is that the food was good. The Kale Salad was indeed excellent and the rest of the food was tasty. But again it's an... More

In the middle of Rockefeller Center, Ruhlma nn is an oasis of tranquility, hospitality, solid pub grub, and attentive service. The prices are expectedly elevated, but not excessive. The food is thoughtful and well presented. Service is efficient but not obsequious. Perfect for an effective business lunch or dinner.

Know that this is a restaurant that caters to tourists, as it is located in midst of Rockefeller Center. There are many large tables; the noise level is distracting for reasonable conversation. Service staff was universally helpful and friendly. Disappointing wine list - modest in choices, and even more overpriced than you'd expect in NYC midtown. Food came out quickly... More

Went to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas Tree yesterday, made reservations via Open Table. Looking for a special place to take my son for his birthday with family and a friend. Location is great (we could see the tree from our table) and the atmosphere is nice (place is a bit cold temperature-wise). Maitre-D was very hospitable and the... More

I've only dined here as a guest of a private cocktail party for the holiday season. It was an open bar with lovely passed hors d'oeuvres and a beautiful platter of cheeses with quince, fig, and candied walnuts. Just that alone made me want to dine there for a sit down dinner. The view of the brightly lit holiday lights... More
