Thanks to tripadvisor we found this ethnic restaurant near the hotel. We had to book quite early (6.30pm) because later the restaurant was full. We ordered a bottle of lebanese wine, Ixsir Grand Reserve 2009, which had a good taste but nothing exceptional. We asked for warm eggplant as entree and then the mixed grill (lamb, chicken and beef) and... More

We lived in the Middle East, and have been back in the US for 2 years. We have been craving authentic Lebanese/Middle Eastern food all this time. Ilili did NOT disappoint! Party of 4 - we shared the Mixed Grill entree and 6 mezzes (small, appetizer/sharing plates). Everything was delicious! We had hummus, fattoush, shawarma, shrimp, Lebanese rice, and amazing... More

Ilili has wonderful mezze with amazing flavor combinations, delicious inventive cocktails, creative food presentations, and really knowledgeable service staff. Laura, from the server team is amazing. We were a party of five with no expectations. This is a beautiful, modern venue. We had excellent, appropriately friendly service, and everything was delicious (the pitas are little pillows!) It was expensive, but this is not a food cart, and it is NYC.

During my last trip to New York, I tried Ilili which was one of the closest restaurants from my hotel. I like Mediterranean food as weel. I was not disapointed. The food was really delicious. The staff is very professional and nice. The room is nice. The restroom deserves a visit. The only problem I would mention is the noise.... More

On a recommendation from a friend who visits ilili every time he's in NYC we made a reservation 8pm. On the evening of our visit we were delayed and were able to push our reservation back to 8:30. Everyone from the hostess at the door, to our waiter and the servers were professional, knowledgable and courteous. The FOOD was absolutely... More

Ilili has a middle eastern menu, many items are typical of a local ethnic type restaurants, i.e. hummus and moujadara. The decor leaves a lot to be desired, a large cavernous space with fabric draping some of the walls. Tables are on top of each other. The service was fine. We selected a whipped chankleesh and mouhamara, both served with... More
