This is one of my favourite places in New York, the atmosphere is excellent, is has low light with great felling. The food is very very good, it´s made home style and believe me when I say home style because I come from a very good cooking family and the cook middle eastern food and this place has it all.... We went on a Saturday night and placing was full even on the second floor where we were seated. They have a nice cocktail list and drinks sans alcohol. The appetisers were great particularly the chicken livers and the falafel. We shared the mixed grill for 2 between 3 which with a fatoush salad and the fries was just right. The lamb... More

The Lebanese cuisine really is first class -- delicious, properly prepared, nicely presented. You will not go wrong with the food. However, this place is so popular, so crowded, it is very noisy and the staff like to keep the tables turning over. My group was told we could not be seated until everyone was present (we had one straggler),... More

This place was hopping on a Saturday night at 9:00, so we had to wait a little while, but soon enough were plunked in a second floor room at the far end of the restaurant, which was actually nice because it wasn't as loud. Our waiter was perfect, very informative. Decor is very nice. And the food, as expected, was... More

We attend a show at least once a month and typically eat dinner around the theater district. I was in the mood for some good Middle Eastern food and after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor we decided on ilili. We were not disappointed. We order three different appetizers, baba ghanoush, duck shawarma, and falafel. The duck was just wonderful!... More

I will definitely go back. The delicately spiced Lebanese food was top notch and reasonable for the city. The service was attentive. The only negative was the noise level. They definitely need to work on sound proofing. And they need to get traditional cardamom coffee to complement the desserts. That said, cucumber, lemon and ginger drink was refreshing. Moussaka, kibbe,... More

This restaurant was the perfect place for a group of friend to meet. The atmosphere is modern and the food is delicious. We ordered several appetizers for the table and it was wonderful to try thing that I might not have ordered otherwise. The brussel-sprouts for example where surprisingly wonderful. The dinners were good size . Not too big and... More

We were looking for a more special dinner out on our trip to NYC and this place has it all! I would describe it as a swanky 5th Ave Lebanese tapas restaurant. The food is out of this world. We were totally blown away by everything and we're pretty hard-core foodies. The atmosphere is very hip. The kind of place... More

Good mediterranean - Lebanese option in NY. Very good wine list of Lebanese wines, plates have good sizes, price - ratio - quality not bad. The decoration is very nice.

This is Lebanese food at its finest, with a wonderful Lebanese red wine. We were 30 people at a private brunch upstairs. We started with cold appetizers followed by a selection of hot food, mostly vegetarian dishes but there were also some meat dishes as well. There was even a truffled egg dish, benedict style, that was fabulous Everything was... More
