I had an excellent meal at this Italian restaurant, outstanding homemade ravioli paired with an aglianico wine . Lovely beet antipasto followed by a Branzino . Nice chocolate cake to end . I was very pleased with service , ambiance and price , I highly recommend it.

Six from our family enjoyed dinner here on a Friday evening prior to going to the theater. We picked the place based on other reviews and its proximity to the theater. Our welcome was warm and hospitable. We sat at the narrow bar and enjoyed a drink while waiting for our entire party to arrive. The bartender was very pleasant.... More

Loved this restaurant- on entry we were led down a tiny stairs into what felt like someone's living room for a delicious authentic Italian meal- the service was excellent and I recommend looking to sit in the overflow area- such a great experience!

I was expecting a more romantic atmosphere. I'd planned a romantic evening and I found the place quite noisy. The service is ok, the sommeliere simply took her "right of cork" glass of our bottle without even saying a word. Uncool. The food was very good.

We have been to Aroma three times over the last few years and each time it's been a great experience. Our last time was exactly a year ago, when we enjoyed a tasting dinner for my wife's birthday. It was in the basement room, which has a rustic feeling, and both the owners and the hosts of the dinner made... More

I just threw my birthday party in one of their underground party rooms. Great space! Besides the terrific service, it is just an inviting and warm place to go for any reason. Here was the menu: “aroma” meatballs, smoked mozzarella tuscan cannellini beans, rosemary, roasted spicy lamb sausage preserved beets, toasted sicilian pistachios, gorgonzola * sautéed mussels in fennel broth,... In addition to the very good food (I had the grilled octopus and the busiate trapanesi w/duck ragu) & wine we were seated in the "Farmhouse Room", a very attractive and cozy wine cellar style space. What made it even more interesting was the route to get there: through the front bar then down a flight of very steep stairs... More

Found this place while strolling along soho area. The outside looks very unassuming, small patio, a single bar table by the window. We decided to give it a try and glad we did, the inside is small as well with a few tables in low lit romantic setting. The walls are decorated with cook books and empty bottles of wine.... More
