Another happy NY accident! We got off the subway and wanted a cup of coffee so we stopped in here. Along with the coffee we had a piece of red velvet cheesecake which was to die for!! Th guys at the counter are delightfully funny and the food we saw being delivered to other tables looked fantastic. We ended up... More

My friend and I were in New York and stumbled on this 24 hour gem whilst looking for our subway! Food was huge and crazy good. Good prices. Our server Sammy was amazing.. Very charming and very fun! Was a cool place to have a late night feast after the bar!

A reasonably priced cafe serving good food with pleasant service. You don't come here for the haute cuisine but what they do, they do well. Very affable server who looked after us, tasty food and even a decent cup of tea for us Brits cast adrift in an ocean of lukewarm coffee. Recommended.

I was going to order a Caesar salad and then I saw what sounded like an appealing steak sandwich and started to order both. The waiter/proprietor alerted me that they were both full portion and might be too much for me eat in one seating. I hope I made up in the tip a part of what he saved me.... More

Not too bad! It was late so we didn't expect too much. We got a few pastries and some gelato. Tiramisu was average and so was the banana pudding gelato. Nice guys working the counter.

This place has a better breakfast than the highly recommended Clinton St. Bakery. The waffles and French toast were very delicious. Very friendly, fun staff. We walked in and were served immediately. When we ate at the Clinton St. Bakery we had to line up outside for 20 minutes and the place was very crowded.

Staff with characters, this place delivers a great assortment of pastries (the best chocolate cake), but also does a mean burger and breakfast. It is reasonably priced and seems to be open 24x7!

Perched on the corner of Houston and Allen Streets this lonf narrow eatery is a pleasant standby. The food is good and the portions large. The staff is friendly and quick. A good place for a quick dish with a view of the world walking by.

The food and service was excellent, I would definitely recommend this cafe to other travellers. Thanks to The GEM hotel SOHO for recommending the cafe.
