Great lunch

Had a really excellent three course lunch here during restaurant week although I think they offer a similar menu all year round. We felt a little under dressed in comparison to the other diners but staff were great, very attentive and I really recommend this place for a 'posh' lunch.

We attended a business function here and I have never experienced such rudeness from staff. There was confusion when we arrived and they sent us to a different entrance in the pouring rain only for them to tell us to go back again as they had got it wrong!! By this time there were 50 very unhappy and wet people... More

So we went there for dinner because the NY Rangers were having a forum in their ballroom. It's quiet. Prices are too high. Knowing the history of Harry's Place you'd think they'd be more accomodating for the common man. We had eggplant parm and spinach cheese ravioli. Ravioli was in a light sauce which was good. Eggplant was mostly cheese... More

My boyfriend and I didn't have a reservation but we were lucky and got a table for 2. The service was good and the staff very friendly. The food was good and the athmosphere very lively, a bit too loud.

My husband and I have been here several times now. The service, the place and the food are always consistently good. You feel you've stepped back into time from a service perspective, where the maitre d is always keeping a watchful eye on your table, looking for signs of happiness and unhappiness. He will develop a relationship with you, an... More

My husband and I came from Boston to NYC this year to enjoy a few Christmas season events and had a lovely time at Cipriani. The filet mignon and mixed vegetables were particularly delicious and the service was gracious and timely. The decor is thought-provoking and the overall atmosphere is bustling. Apparently the outdoor balcony is open during the spring... More

I went to Cipriani for a business dinner on a quiet evening and ordered the calf liver with polenta which I typically order only from Cipriani. Wonderful and went well with the Gaja Ca' Marcanda Promis.

I love coming here every time I come to NYC. It's a real Italian treat...my favourite dish being the simple Gnocchi Ai Pomodoro. The Vitello Tonnato is one of the best ever. I love the quiet buzz and formality of the place and yet it has a well lived in ambience of fun and laughter. The service is always excellent... More
