Remarkable restaurant

We went there for quick salads and surprisingly quality, superb location and with street views: small terrace.. And very helpful and friendly waitress. Compared with NY, midtown.. Competitive pricing

While sightseeing dropped in here for a drinks and snack. Worst food in NYC maybe ever. Service, drinks and views great. Maybes we selected poorly?

Without a doubt, Cipriani is one of the finest restaurants I have ever been to, including the best America and Europe has to offer. The staff was as attentive as they could be without being overbearing or smothering. Food quality was superb and the portions were most generous. We were there for a fund raiser with several hundred people. There... More

We were four who dined here last night. It was 6 pm & very few people had as yet arrived in this lovely dining room. The greeting, seating and service were impeccable. The prices were very dear, as expected, in a restaurant reputed to be for Special occaision dining. Two of us shared the Prosciutto and Mozzarella - $30, the... More

I've been visiting Cipriani for years, usually for special occasions with the family, but this time for a couples dinner. He had been complaining about the attitude and poor service at many other restaurants, but I was finally able to satisfy his need for perfect service with Cipriani! They manage to walk the fine line between attentive and intrusive, while... More

It was a great experience to eat here. All the staff were very attentive and nice. Made us feel like we were one of the regulars, even though it was our first time going. A great evening meal, would defiantly go back and highly recommend

We were celebrating a special occasion and picked Cipriani's. We were not disappointed. We were given a special corner table, the service was attentive but not intrusive. Be sure to have a Bellini-the signature cocktail. Everything we ordered was delicious. In particular, the Veal Piccata was excellent and one of the best I have ever had.

Finding a good restaurant in easy walking distance of your hotel is always a challenge but we struck gold with Cipriani's. Down to earth (aka real) service and home cooked fare was not expected in this part of town. The Lobster Risotto was perfect, the Pumpkin ravioli was awesome. Good service, good food, good price.

We visited Cipriani's on 5th after my fiance proposed. We weren't expecting any special treatment, but we weren't expected to be greeted so coldly by the maître d'either - clearly we weren't VIP enough for the restaurant and that was obvious when we were told to stand awkwardly at the entrance whilst he "found us a table" in what was... The restaurant is not bad and it has some Italian flavor to it but the prices are unreasonably high and its simply not worth it. There are many better italian restaurants in New York that you can eat at for less money.
