I came here on a Saturday night to do battle with a friend in table tennis as she had claimed for the past 6 months that she could defeat me. I don't recall if the cover charge was $3 or $5 but it wasn't much. The bar is rammed on a Saturday night so it was difficult to find a... More

The cover on a Tuesday night was $3. We got there around 11 and there was a fantastic Latin band with a horn section surrounded by couches for listeners. I wished we had gotten there sooner so I could have listened to the band more. The shuffle board tables were available, the pool tables looked pretty full. The decor is... More

An UN-assuming front entry leads you down the stairs and into the mega-plex that is Fat Cat. Pool tables, ping pong tables, scrabble, and folks sitting around playing cards all to the sound of jazz and throngs of young partying away the night. Cheap entry. Cheap drinks.

We enjoyed the vibe at this place. There was a $3 cover and the drinks were reasonably priced. A jazz band was playing, but what drew us to this place was the ping pong, shuffleboard, and foosball tables. You wait your turn by getting a "deli ticket" and watching the "deli counter" for your number to show up. You're assign... More

Nice bar, very interesting concept, pool and ping pong tables, games, cards, etc. Also live music. Pretty cheap to enter (only 3 dollars), definetly a recommended.

Great bands, cheap beer, fun games, there's really nothing else you can ask for. The only complaint is it gets crowded and it is hard to get to the bar some times. The bar is well staffed so you usually dont wait super long.

A chance remark from a local brought us down town and down the steps at Fat Cat. For $3 each and a hand stamp we had umpteen years stripped from our ages and we were down in the cellar and back in our youth. The Fat Cat is a cavern of a place where you can chose all sorts of... More

Not since college in the 80's have I seen a place that has all the classic table games such as pool, ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, and even chess and backgammon. Live music that isn't overbearing. Great place to have a great time!

March 29th 2014 I heard an amazing guitarist there...Stephen Blum and an organ trio -!! wow ..they should be there more often - excellent - but people were all enjoying themselves..at the pool and game tables..as as standing room only around the musicians ... not expensive

March this year is not inviting us to any jolly weather but what's better than spending it inside, listening to live jazz and play cards over a nice beer? This place looks a bit rough from the outside and the bouncer is not exactly cheery, but inside is full of laughter. Try it!
